Pedigree for 1$ not even in your wildest dreams
Price of dog food really depends on the size of the dog, errr human. If you’re tall, the food budget is automatically higher. And that dog food looks wet, which is pricier than kibble. Perhaps tall people need to soak their kibble in water, to balance their budget. Short people get the privilege of eating wet food, which is tastier. Not that I’ve tried or anything.
Can of dog food. A sizable blunt object to attain the rest.
funny while i searching for mouse traps/bait that particular brand isnt good against mice, let alone rats.
Half a cado
Sell my bucket of rusty nails, buy some bacon
Only works once, unless you have a lot of rusty nails.
Working at the rusty nail factory is long hours but the benefits (free samples) are nice
Good one. I was stuck on 2 of the onion rings and some dog food.
That’s not a bad option either
$3 is 11 loafs of bread worth
You getting scammed with the other food
Maybe, if you rob a guy with $3 and 11 loafs of bread.
Ah, yes, 11 loaves of bread per meal, a perfect and balanced diet.
You also have enough left for a candy or 2
Dogfood would be $3.01
It has tasty morsels so that’s fair
I hate that this is becoming more realistic. Fuck this shit ass economy. We are getting utterly fucked.
Worth mentioning that RatX is corn gluten meal and salt, it is harmless to humans.
The irony is hilarious

How does it work to kill rats?
Uh, in a kinda fucked up way ngl:
RatX® coats the lining of a part of the rodent’s lower gut. This coating of the “fine hairs” in the lower gut, called villi, disrupts the messaging system to the rodents brain, causing it to stop drinking water. This leads to dehydration, blood thickening, kidney dysfunction, coma and eventual death. It also leads to a prcoess called “mummification”, which means the body of the diseased rodent will dry out, rather than decompose normally. This means a 95% reduction in smell.
It should be noted that generally the suffering of dehydration is caused by the brain telling you you need to drink water, much like with breathing and eating. All in all it’s a lot more humane than a lot of poisons.
Good to know, honestly was hoping it wasn’t that bad (all things relative). At least it’s not a glue trap 😅
nails nails nails
You can get dog food for $1 a can? Please let me know where, best I can find is $3.
Someone hasn’t seen the price of nails recently…
Or advocado
In Brazil I get a giant fresh avocado por 1us, or 3 of them for 2us.
In the us they are 20 for a dollar or 20 free if you buy other vegetables and fruits
They grow like crazy too so you can always just have a tree similar to lemons

They’re a little more than twice that where I’m at in the US ($5/lb for hass, which are about 200g avg; roughly $2.25 ea) which isn’t too bad. Of course in more urban areas I expect the price will inevitably be higher.
The best way to afford life in the US is moving to Brazil?!, there’s probably a bunch that have done that within the last couple of years.
these are clearly nails scavenged from free wood on facebook
See you gotta get the Costco bag of nails and meal prep your nails over a month for those long term savings
Or dog food
I get them for free at the manicure

Dog food, delicious!
he prefer the dogs and cats themselves.
RFK would complain about the lack of real dog in dog food
Truly the first human to ever look like an AI food poster parody of himself
Ah gad I can hear his voice being enthusiastic
with gravy? win/win!
Good and cheap is a free cookbook based on the food stamp budget of $4 per day. It’s a free pdf from many sources including the authors website if you sign up for a newsletter or something and paper copies are very inexpensive.
That’s based on 2024 prices. I’d say it’s probably $8-12 / day based on food price inflation.
I’m sure it’s still a good book, though
The food inflation isn’t evenly distributed across all groceries. I hit $6 a day with little snacks and workout oriented meals with greater caloric content and higher Q factor in a bunch of different ways.
If you want to bring down your own grocery bill and go from zero to sixty on cooking at home I can’t recommend that book highly enough. You don’t have to suffer.
E: oh yeah, the book title and premise are based on 2015 prices too.
