They probably cut off the top of the tree so it wouldn’t interfere with the power line above it. You can see the shadow of the power line.

Fake. Look at the shadow of the wall on the top part of the picture. If this was real, the shadow wouldn’t be angled down, as the main one would suggest the sun is directly above.

The car shadows are straight down, too.
The shadow you’re referring too could be foliage hanging out over the top of the wall, or trees behind the wall, but hanging over the wall.
Sometimes things really do happen outside in the real world.
It’s an awning, not a wall.

Don’t think that’s the wall’s shadow, more like trees or bushes or something out of view. The shadow doesn’t look anything like a wall.
Unless that wall is pretty crumbly, I’d guess there’s a tree above it. And if it’s midday, I think the photo is plausible

Where is this? Is Figo common in the US or Europe? This looks US based on the sidewalk and power lines, but not sure you see figo there.

But for the shadow, wouldn’t that depend on the season? Couldn’t you get that at a wide range of latitudes?
If you look on a globe, in addition to the equator, you’ll see two other lines labeled tropics. These lines represent where on earth, as the planet shifts on its axis through the seasons, the sun is directly overhead at each solstice. Everything north or south of the tropics has noons at less than 90⁰ year round.
As others have already said, no, direct overhead sun actually doesn’t happen in a sizable chunk of the world. But I’ll add some personal experience:
I’ve lived at northern latitudes my whole life and two things are always weird when I visit equatorial regions: 1) experiencing true “noon” or true overhead sun 2) the incredibly short sunsets. I also always end up getting fucking roasted by sunburn on vacation, not understanding the power of tropical overhead sun’s radiation intensity. Even if I know it intellectually, I never remember it well enough to avoid getting burned because I can be outside at home in the sun for a lot longer.

Somewhere nearly on the equator. I was thinking Mexico too since the US never got a Figo, and I very much doubt anyone would import a 25 year old one.
Also the mainland US is not inside the tropical circles. Hawaii and Puerto Rico are though.
