What a choice. I would think that it would be more convenient to do lines on the end of the sofa, the corner is usually the most comfy place to curl up when using the sofa for, you know, not doing coke.

There’s no way I wouldn’t accidentally start to sit there, realize too late, then bleed out from the resulting gooch-gash.

Funny way to go though I guess.

We had a sofa just like this! I remember dusting the coke corner. My mom put a lamp and one of those clocks encased in a glass dome in that corner. It had a matching coffee table/lazy Susan thing which also had a huge, round mirror. (It was like a coffee table, but it spun. Think “Wheel of Fortune.”) The coffee table was upholstered for some reason.

I remember as a kid having a corner sofa similar. Instead of glass it was either wood or material on wood. I remember it was recessed a little bit so had a small edge. It was also brown with a kind of short pile rug feel which seemed to attract dust and/or mites because my asthma didn’t get along with it.

There used to be a shop in my town on the main street of a high end shopping district that sold stuff like this and was in business for years even though their furniture had gone out of style years before. I decided it was definitely a money laundering front.
