I also just started this! I got 100% completion on Control - I loved the lore and little details, finding myself reading every note and watching every video.
Resonant seems to be following the same vibe for me.

Wow. That’s a fucked up read.

Well, they are brothers.
Of fucking course it was in St Louis, Missouri.

I’m not smart, but the first thing would be to pull whatever lever in the war powers act reigns in the president and stop the fucking Iran war.
Next impeach motherfuckers.
Depending on how much of a majority, look at passing laws that are veto-proof and actually do things like cap student loan payments, add back the SNAP funding, and maybe actually force the EPA/FDA/FCC/other captured agencies to not tear down their own organizations.
But I’m sure the best we’ll get is a strongly worded letter from Schumer.

I work in IT. Every time more than a handful of IT folks get together the talk always turns towards how shitty their wives are/were before the divorce.
Or the wife is framed as someone who keeps them from buying tech stuff (“I’d like to upgrade my homelab, but the purchasing department keeps turning me down! Har har”).
I’m just sitting here with a lovely wife who trusts me to spend money on what we need to keep the tech stuff working.

Hey, incorrect only the majority of times!

So I started with Yakuza: Like a Dragon, but gave up on it way too early due to the crazy long cut scenes. A few months to a year later, I picked up Infinite Wealth and was blown away by the writing, character arcs, gameplay, etc.
It was just so wacky and fun. Shortly after infinite wealth, I went back to Yakuza: Like A Dragon and now that I was more familiar with the gameplay/story telling I was able to get way more out of it.
I went back to the beginning with Yakuza 0, then jumped ahead to Like a Dragon: Yakuza Pirate in Hawaii (or whatever the insane title the Majima stand alone game is called).
(these coincidentally are my top three)
I finished up the pirate one, went back and finished zero (now having more of an appreciation for both Kiryu and Mojima) and have been playing the rest in numerical order. Yakuza One, Two and Three are all great, I think I stalled out on Yakuza 6 before taking a break for a bit.
I highly recommend looking at the Like a Dragon games - I like Kiryu, but I love Kasugra. His relentless positivity is something that I don’t find often in video games.

Look at any tough-guy gym… There’ll be testosterone offered to make you a “real man”.
Or breast implants for women who want bigger boobs. Those are both designed to help cis folks feel more like they’re the man/woman they think they need to be.
Which is why if gender affirming care is ever outlawed in my purple/red state, I’m going to be reporting the fuck out of the maga gym near by.

Can I just say a bunch of Yakuza games?
I fell in love with them during the pandemic and they each have something great.

GitHub doesn’t need to know that - I think that’s why it’s a bit of a cop out for MFA. Sure, your bitwarden may implement MFA, but just a chrome browser isn’t MFA.
Passkeys enable sites to offload the responsibility of securing accounts to the user, and if the user chooses a weaker way to implement them, GitHub doesn’t give a fuck.

Which Linux app? I’ve just been using QBZ?

True, but how does GitHub know your bitwarden has MFA? It only knows something has a valid credential.

Legally mandated return to office.

As long as it’s painfully French, I’m on board.

It’s the perfect guest house. Separate from the main house and not comfortable for long term visits.

Now to hire all those folks back! I’m sure they didn’t go to other private jobs that paid more.
Oh, and I’m also confident they will return to work knowing this administration learned their lesson and won’t try to fire them all using a slightly different reasoning in the near future.
At work, I used ssh-signed certificates for Linux server access - those certs are only valid for about 15 minutes.
The whole idea of shorter lifetime certificates is to address if a certificate is compromised. (Especially for client certificates which, iirc, Let’s Encrypt no longer offers).
For a home lab? With no externally accessible services? Short-lived certs aren’t really a big deal. Nobody is going to be hacking your homelab, stealing your private keys, poisoning your internal DNS, and pointing you to a different, malicious service.
