Same thing happened to me. I had a Ryzen 1600 and a x470 from my wife’s old computer that had been shelved for about a year, she needed to update to Win11 for work and it was better deal to buy a bundle at Microcenter than to just by a new processor, those were the days…, so I decided to use the existing parts I had to build a family PC. So I checked that a 5500 is compatible with my x470 but when I put it in I would get a RAM fail error. I thought the RAM and MB had gotten damaged at some point. I put the old processor back in and everything worked so maybe the CPU was bad out of the box. I was literally working on the return process when I decided to check Gygabyte’s website to see if there were any notes for the motherboard. There it was, an update to add compatibility to the MB but I was on r6.0 and needed to get to r62.0 and figured out the hard way that I couldn’t just install the latest version, there were specific versions that had to be installed first.

I just updated my BIOS on a 6yo motherboard because I upgraded the processor. Went up about 15 updates that had to be done one by one and took all day. I only broke it once because there are no guides or manuals on how to setup the USB drive from one version update to another. Had to figure out how to load a recovery image from another guide for another MB that they did create a guide for. Darn you Gygabyte for your poor documentation.

Nope. If both candidates are Israel supporters then no matter what Israel will be supported regardless of how you vote. What you are saying is that the person sitting next to you doesn’t deserve rights because you failed to vote against the opposition because the Democrat candidate isn’t perfect. I’m not excusing the Dem candidate for supporting Israel but I’m saying that all Americans should enjoy the same rights and the voters options are limited. You disagree and that’s your right, but I hope that you aren’t going around advocating for human rights while also strengthening the position of those that would take those rights away. This is a fight won in inches not miles.

I’m not disagreeing that genocide is bad but the other guy probably supports Israel as well since they’re Republican. It’s your right to not vote but anyone else reading and not voting is the same as supporting the other person by allowing them to be voted in. By not picking a side, you’re picking a side and giving the other side a free pass. You’re basically saying that you are ok if the opposition who supports Israel gets elected because you didn’t use your vote to cancel out a vote. Either way you’re supporting Israel.

The choice here is to vote for a candidate that supports Israel and the rights of Americans or someone that supports Israel and opposes American rights or not vote and let someone else decide for you. You can wait for your perfect candidate while the opposition votes in theirs. It’s your right.

I’ve always wondered about the eternal bliss part of heaven. It always seems very vague. So on earth you’re not supposed to enjoy life’s pleasures or joys “too much” because in heaven you can’t enjoy it “too much”, like what’s the goal. Is it just dangle temptation in front of you as a test, so you don’t go to hell. So does that mean you can be a sinner in heaven because you showed restraint on earth? Does that mean you get in because you proved that you are ok with living a pious life but now there is no temptation and no free will? Either way it sounds like physical torture in hell or mental torture in heaven, I’m a bit confused. I’m willing to listen, hell seems pretty specific but heaven is pretty vague.

The pci cards are offset so that in the case there’s room for the connector, this means that the chips are only on one side of the card. So the in pictures of the cards they are shown flipped over from their installed orientation, otherwise you would be looking at the back of the board in the picture.

You mean that in the picture of the card the pci connector is on the right but installed the pci connector would be on the left? So the the picture of the card it would be flipped. So the dvi connect appears to be upside down when looking at it from the outside.

Is this the issue?
