It may be best selling but players give it extreamly low scores once they tried it:

I think they trusted blizzard to not mess up the game, and they did of course.
Patch Notes 1.10a
- Fixed multiple issues where players have fun
- Fixed multiple issues where players weren’t weak enough | Developers Note: Since resistances are broke and we aren’t fixing them until season 2 (next | season), we figured we’d reduce armor to the point it barely works as well.
- Fixed multiple issues where EXP gain seemed reasonable
- Fixed multiple issues where players were able to get helltide rewards in a reasonable time
- Reduced overall game enjoyment 50-100%
Is it really that bad? It looks pretty damn good.
It’s actually a really good game. I’ve yet to talk to a person in real life who’s tried it and hasn’t liked it. Lots of people online like to say it’s a failure because of greedy Activision/Blizzard, so I’d take most things you read with a grain of salt.
Like all Diablo games, the end game content gets a bit repetitive. I personally enjoy the grind, but it’s not for everyone. The main story is phenomenal too.
That’s what I figured. I find that the more massively popular a game is, the harder it gets thrashed by whoever these gross, angry people are. Ah, the internet.
It isn’t that bad and really the endgame needs some time tuning but is in an overall better place than it has been for most Diablo launches.
My main issue with it is that it’s not fun. Decent game, but got boring REAL quick.
After Blizzard Activision pulled there bullshit about Hong Kong protests, I’m never touching their shit again. It’s a shame, because Blizzard used to be bussin and had many a banger. Oh well. It was good while it lasted.
