Interesting. It got a lot wrong, though:
- It thought I was running in a virtual machine, which I am not.
- It said I had a camera and microphone attached, and I don’t have either.
- It also said I “typed the link yourself”, which isn’t true. I clicked the link in Lemmy in this post (I control-clicked to open in a new tab, that is).
- It said I’m “using a mouse, not a trackpad” which is incorrect. I am using a trackpad.
- It said my typing rhythm was “uneven, hunt-and-peck” and suggested I was “distracted”, but also said my typing speed was 103wpm. How does that make sense? I’m definitely using the home row if that makes a difference.
On the typing one, here’s my typing speed:
> time read l the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog real 0m5.553s user 0m0.000s sys 0m0.000s > python3 -c 'print(9*60/5)' 108.0So, they weren’t far wrong on that typing speed.
But none of the rest of what they saw surprised me any. I’m not using a VPN or anything. It’d be a good site to use if I wanted to reduce my fingerprintability, though. (That or the EFF one.)
