The federal reserve is a group of private banks who make financial policy to the USA while at the same time having NO OVERSIGHT. The federal government cannot audit the federal reserve’s transactions with foreign governments. It’s a big deal that is largely ignored. The american economy is dictated by PRIVATE banks who act in their own interest.

I assume payment processors is also the reason why Verizon banned porn, although i don’t think they talked about it like the wurrent owners do.
Wordpress bought Tumblr in 2019 for, allegedly, 3M$, which is a huge discount, and they’ve done a good job running the place so far.
