So today in "Batshit things happening during the Australian election” - the Liberal Party has dropped a rap diss track about the Prime Minister and shopping prices on Soundcloud, and for those wondering, yes it is the worst thing you will ever hear.As if that wasn’t weird enough on its own, there’s plenty of accusations circulating that they made the song using Al, given the bizarre choice of using an American accent in the song, and it’s been pointed out that the cover art is parodying a Drake album cover which isn’t exactly someone you want to be aligning yourself with in a rap battle right now.
Shoutout to this quote from Channel 7’s story when the song dropped:
[snippet from the article reading: "At the time of writing, the track has one comment.
it simply says “excretable”, meaning extreme bad or unpleasant "

No it does not. It means you have confused Conservatism for an ideology in and of itself rather than a position on an ideological spectrum. If you tell me you believe in liberalism you are actually telling me the kind of government and economy you endorse much like if you claimed to be a Marxist Leninist. If you say you are “conservative” you need a noun for that adjective.
Liberalism is traditionally the beginning of the left as the left outside of Europe. The whole bit about how leftism is anti-capitalist is Eurocentric
I hope you are trolling, because I’m barely able to scratch enough sense out of it to approximate an argument.
That sounds like you have a skill issue then or you are so Eurocentric in your perspective that you cannot see it.
You are so hung up on the word eurocentric, you might just use that as the entire “argument”.
It’s because it is a common problem for Westerners. They often forget that much of the world is still on the political divide of liberalism vs authoritarianism.
That is a fair critique. Putting it like that makes it clear that you consider it a different axis. I didn’t understand it from the previous replies.
