It’s been a while
Bravo
Is that not just a broad cross section of the society we live in?
If there is anything that’s good about threads; it’s what it’s doing to Musk and Twitter.
Having said that it’s not a place I’m ever planning on venturing into.
All comments are 2 years old as well.
There must have been a glitch. In time. 2 years have passed since we opened the comment page.
I’m not sure that they would be able to cope to be honest. The power that being an admin, small as it may be, is abused systemically in that organisation. Not sure what they would do if they couldn’t mute/ban anyone and everyone around them.
I had an active 11 year old account that I deleted.
The final straw for me was an interaction with a ham fisted admin these last few days. It really and honestly is a toxic environment there, and the admins are following the lead from Spez, so it’s deeply embedded into the culture.
Thank you for this.
How does one go about finding communities from other instances and connect with them?
I have only signed up today, so this may be something I’m doing on my end. But on the home screen, if I sort by “All”, as opposed to “subscribed” or “local”, after about a minute posts start streaming down the page at a very quick pace. It looks like when people comment on discord. I have tested this on both my phone and pc, and they both do it in my browser (firefox each time). Unfortunatley I cannot screenshot it, since that would just be a static image, and I don’t know how to record my screen.

It’s a fantastic resource on Reddit. Much like how bacon keeps me from going full vegetarian, UK personal finance keeps me on Reddit.
Is it really childish to quote what someone else said and question it? Seems like quite an overreaction on your behalf to be honest.
