  • I’ve worked retail, office jobs, call center jobs and warehouse jobs. I made an office ‘friend’ in two of those jobs. One who id grab drinks with outside of work and another who id chat to via text occasionally. But as our jobs changed and lives moved on. So did we.

I don’t feel the need to be forced into social situations, people are tiring and there’s better things I could spend my time on that being shoved into a room with co-works who I have no interest in talking to and have no interest in talking to me.

Both my best friends are long distance friends. I’ve known one for 13 years, we’ve met up once. And one for 9 years who I’ve never met in person. And they’re the best friends I’ve ever had. If they have issues, I’m right there via text or call to help. Same if I have issues. We send eachother gifts for birthdays/ Christmas, or just because. The 9 year friend and I do a book trade and recommend eachother things we think the other would like (not just book recommendations).

My partner and I have been together for almost 2 years now, we live in different countries. And it’s honestly the best relationship I’ve ever had. Not because of the distance, we visit eachother multiple times a year. But the distance also isn’t an issue.

So long distance friendships/ relationships can work.

Just because some people need that face to face interaction, doesn’t mean everyone else does. Especially when it’s forced by a workplace. If it was to meet up with a friend, I’m sure it would be more welcomed. But being made to meet up with co-workers who aren’t friends/ close with, that sounds miserable. Being made to do something you don’t want to do/ aren’t interested in is never fun. Ever try get a teenager to clean their room? Often not very high on their list because it’s something they don’t want to do. The same can be said for social events with co-workers for a lot of people.

  • It’s not a video game. If you cast locate object, it’s not going to pop up with a map marker with the distance counting down below it as you get closer. It just located an object within that range. You don’t see the range circle, you just know the object is somewhere in range of your spell.

You’ve been proven wrong. Official text in a source book even states the maps aren’t accurate. So take the L and stop trying to prove you’re right. You come across as a sore loser, and honestly, a bit of a dick to keep pushing when you’ve been proven wrong.

  • Me and my partner were playing overwatch, the other team had a roadhog who was tearing through us and constantly typing ‘ez’.
So me and my partner switched characters to counter, you know, as you’re supposed to.
Then we steamrolled that team and hog was then screeching ‘try hards!’
Like seriously dude. Take the L and just leave quietly. Or switch character to counter us?

  • Yeah, it’s a bit grindy. I will say that much. And their tutorial isn’t the best. But once you figure out what you’re doing, it’s a pretty chill game. I’m really enjoying it.
I love stardew and animal crossing.

I’m also waaaaay into baldurs gate 3 right now too. Me and my partner are on our third run through, probably starting the fourth soon. It’s sooo good. I cannot recommend that game enough.

  • Oh my gosh, that is adorable.

To the artist who drew this:
This artist says keep up the good work! You’re doing great. I’m a huge lover of foxes, my art started by drawing foxes when I was younger. Yours are so much better than mine were!

Nourish their talent, let it grow! Art is an amazing thing and it allows us to express ourselves where words cannot.

  • I worked for them a few years ago.
Try using a browser, if that doesn’t work, clear the cache and cookies and try again. If it still doesn’t work, try a different browser (the one they’d usually recommend was Firefox). If that doesn’t work, customer service should be able to remove it for you.

The system is dumb, the security system is automated and did weird shit at times. One of the error codes in the document we had was labelled as ‘WTF happened?’
So yeah. PayPal are kinda wang sometimes.

  • I worked for them. I’ve seen their list of error code reasons. Literally one of the error codes you could get was labelled as ‘WTF happened?’ on the list.
‘Too many buckets’ was another one, that one made me laugh tbh.
But they literally have like a 12+ page document of error codes and what they mean. The system is pretty buggy.
But generally our solution was, clear cache and cookies or try a different browser. It 75% of the time worked. If that didn’t work, customer service could remove cards for you.

  • Me and my partner started our second play through. We cheesed and got Karlach early, literally when we got to the grove. So there whole bits of dialogue that are new.
We found parts of the map in the forge we missed. Some side quests we missed. Characters.
We are doing things in a different order this time. Like the first time at the forge, nere was already dead. This time he was alive and we managed to get him out from behind the cave in.
We’re actually talking to the companions in camp.
We didn’t get rejected by astarion at the party, but rejected him instead.
La’ziel didn’t reject me at the part. But I rejected her.
    So much stuff is different.
Being a bard is fun. I played at the party and volo and alfira joined in on the performance.
So much fun to see all the different stuff.

  • So long as you own their stuff. Since they pulled shit with Bethesda, I’m pretty certain we can see blizz stuff going from playstation. It only mentioned call of duty getting a 10 year promise. No mention of diablo or overwatch.

So you’ll get to play, if you own a pc or Xbox. Microsoft can’t stand the fact Sony beat them in console sales constantly.

I’m fully on the, this deal should have been blocked side. They’re monopolising like a toddler hording toys so nobody else can play with them.

  • The rich are taxed. They pay way more than you do. They pay way more than the non rich people combined. The top 10 rich people pay more taxes than all the non rich people. So don’t come at me about taxes. Your tax contribution is basically nothing. Whereas they pay insane amounts.

In my country. You pay 40% tax if you earn over 100k a year. Which isn’t even rich, but you basically give up nearly half your wage you work fkn hard for. So don’t try pull the tax bullshit.
