The bug was introduced in ExpressVPN Windows versions 12.23.1 – 12.72.0, published between May 19, 2022, and Feb. 7, 2024, and only affected those using the split tunneling feature.

I got my ecotank two years ago and haven’t had a reason to buy ink since. I still have plenty of the ink that came with it. Some number of years ago, I was an intern within a department of state government. I was tasked with helping to enrich their databases. So they sent over an Excel file. I did my thing and added new columns, then I had to send it back over to someone within each division so they could do the data entry. To my horror, when I went to visit one of the division heads, I saw their admin sitting at a computer with a printout of my changes sitting on a document holder next to the screen…manually typing geographic coordinates into a data entry form.

It’s natural to have the concerns you are describing. What I can say from both experience and observation is this: don’t focus on where you think you should be based on what you see in others or by following some arbitrary timeline. If instead you focus on taking care of yourself and allowing yourself discover what your priorities are with an open mind, you are less likely to realize down the road that you have spent too much time chasing someone else’s vision.

Be as patient and supportive with yourself as you would with someone else you care about. Remember that there are a lot of lonely and discouraged people quietly carrying their own burdens every day as they walk by. They too are looking for hope.
