A lot of this sounds overkill considering OP didn’t say they have an extreme threat model.
Other things are also just not the recommended practice if you are prioritizing security over privacy. grapheneOS recommends using either acrescent or Google Play store for apps. Obtanium is ok, but they have actively spoken against fdroid and the way that applications are distributed through the fdroid store
Why are all the comments on this article just people being assholes and saying this is a scam? I don’t see a link in the news article to mastodon, any other social media, or any type of fundraising link.
Yours looks way better, one small criticism that may be easy to adjust but could also just be the visual style you want: most surfaces look way too glossy and reflective.
While it’s nice to have detailed reflections, things like the wall tiles just seem nearly like mirrors when it comes to light reflections. There’s no diffusion. Maybe the face masks could stay as glossy, but I would diffuse/dull the rest a bit. The ceramic tile but especially the padded room. Padded room tiles would be fabric so there really shouldn’t be any gloss and very little reflection.
I hope you don’t take that the wrong way, and I think your game will stand out as far superior to the copy
I’m not an expert or even close to that, so no, not really I suppose. Can you really trust any device when it comes down to the hardware level? I wouldn’t trust an iPhone or any other phone more. Again, while I’m not an expert, I’d trust grapheneOS for software over any other mobile OS. Probably trust to that effect would be grapheneOS >>>> iOS >> everything else. But full trust in any hardware? Who really knows

It is true for Signal on Apple devices. It is not true for Signal on Android devices. Well I’m using grapheneOS so I feel more comfortable in my case but a regular Android device with full access Google Play Services? That I’m not so sure about. It’s conceivable that Google has a way to read the final notification (FCM push -> Signal fetches and displays message -> Google can read all notifications on the device, FCM or otherwise) 😬
This is not true for Signal. Other apps may send the notification content but signal uses FCM to push a simple notification to wake the device and tell signal to fetch the actual notification. You can use the full text / info notification and know that Google does not see it.

I’m not a dev, I just use the os. Personally I had issues that prevented me from using it, but they have added great compatibility for Android Auto and for RCS.
To clarify since you’re mincing my words, I said:
Yes grapheneOS increases privacy compared to stock and so do other custom OS, but the key is that grapheneOS does not compromise security but instead increases it compared to stock OS.
Other custom OS lag behind with patches, and grapheneOS is the only custom OS I have heard of where their security patches are actually added back into stock Android.
This is such a soft response and I’ve seen it in a lot of places. People cry and call it shit talking because the devs point out flaws in other operating systems.
/e/, lineage, Jolla/sailfish, they are all bad for security and really not that great for privacy. grapheneOS really is the best without question especially if you value the best security.

Our healthcare is expensive and insane, cost of living too high, wages too low, politicians too corrupt, primary education and literacy rates are piss poor, but colleges and universities are still among the top in the world, especially a school like MIT.
Sure, some colleges are a joke, but that doesn’t mean we don’t also have some of the best of the best.
Edit: I see your point that comparing MIT within the US is kind of just comparing the best of a limited group. They could say world-wide and they’d probably still be pretty accurate. Regardless of this evaluation, they’re certainly not a small fish on a global level
