  • Nah… I’m central European and that is not even close. Maybe for Europeans living near low cost turist atrections? Where I live English are maybe seen a bit posh, thinking thay are too special to be EU, decendents of big bed imperialist and such. While the scots are seen as trying to cosplay scandinavian. And I’m sorry to say we do not have any stereotype for the Welsh and Northern Irish whatsoever.

Nahh! Another cultural impact is, that if you are one with natur it is acceptable to put your tentacle thingies into your girl, pull out, and into an animal it goes. You can even force it into a bird and people will like you for it. I newer saw them wash it after pulling out of an animal, probably it went straight back into the girl off screen.

  • You don’t know much about irrigation or farming do you? I don’t know about the US but here in the EU, at least where I live, there is like a 2 magnitude difference between pumping water from a channel versus buying tap water.

Its like ploting the number of people buying food at a fast food joint and a Michelin star restaurant. While both serv food it’s weird and misleading to compare it…

And why do you mention salt water? How is that a factor? Neither uses salt water.

  • I get what you are saying but this is actually how science works. If you want to higher level of abstraction you do generalize, if you want to go to detail you want as much categories as possible to differentiate noise from actuall difference.

If you want to calculate the mass of the milkyway it might be reasonable to focus only on these two element, however if you want to study the mass of the planets of our tiny solar system you can probably consider other elements too.

So there are good cases when to differentiate and when not to. Which is probably not the point you wanted to make.

  • Being care free. Drinking a beer and smoking down by the river at the age of 15, without the possibility of someone posting it. These days I see kids very self cautious. Which is good in someways, somking half a pack a day as a child might not been the best idea. But there is probably a lot of pent up frustration and stress that they cannot release easily. It’s probably very taxing mentally.
