It also implies the existence of “the writer’s well disguised fetish”, which might be all the other books and we would never know.

Oh, I’m using Heroic for that too, it works well enough. But I was using GoG launcher before switching to Linux, even for Steam games and other storefronts. I would like to keep using it on Linux, hence my previous comment.

I appreciate the enormous work Valve has done for Linux gaming, but I’m also somewhat concerned about Steam being the only storefront that also combines with a Proton-compatible launcher. GoG could be a real competition if they added that option.

Really fitting that this character specifically is used in the meme

“Steak too juicy” type downside. If they were looking for an excuse, they could just stop supporting the standalone installers.

Just one more data center bro, promise

Ah, I was looking for Citation Needed in the thread

Now if only they stepped up on Linux compatibility, I’d actually be using their launcher like I used to on Windows.

The companies that replaced employees with AI are already entering the “find out” stage.

Competitive in bronze rank, I suppose

To be fair, both genres feature top down camera and a lot of visual effects

I have to ask a question some ARPG players don’t like for some reason - is there an option to use WASD for movement? I enjoy the top-down combat and the loot/leveling system that most games of the genre have, but I really dislike the classic mouse based movement.

That’s exactly what saved me once, indeed.

I’ve upgraded my CPU several months ago and, like a dumbass, hadn’t checked whether I needed to update BIOS beforehand. Turns out, I did need it. Luckily, I’ve also found out my motherboard had the USB flash BIOS option, so I’ve downloaded the update from my laptop onto a USB stick and it updated normally first try. Gave me a scare at first, though, I thought I’d broken something while installing the new CPU.

Haven’t used insults or slurs, but if you’d like to imagine some for your emotional security, feel free. If one line from a stranger on the internet is enough to make you watch a subpar show made by a transphobe you weren’t going to watch, I don’t know how much “anti-authority” you can pretend to be.

To me, it’s pretty clear cut. Supporting a transphobe makes you a transphobe. I obviously can’t control your actions, but it is interesting that you feel the need to defend a position that allows you to support a transphobe.

“I’m going to be a transphobe out of spite” is a really weird hill to die on

Now I’m motivated
