To me it seems like bots or sleeper accounts

Might be best to report and/or block them

This is Battle Bots

edit:
dang, well congrats to those who knew/guessed correctly

I’ve heard rumors that non-Xbox gamers will often refund games if they’re required to log into a Microsoft account.

This move seems careless as people can’t afford to buy a next-gen Xbox if it were to come out because Microsoft themselves are helping to drive up component costs due to AI.

There is no manufacturer in the world (that I’m currently aware of) that has been able to avoid increasing the costs of their electronic devices especially if it contains a hint of DRAM.

Closing off a market like Steam to themselves is so short-sighted in my opinion.

Edit:
Also saw this just a moment ago:

• Xbox console price increases in Europe and UK fully revealed, with Series X now costing €200 more

At this point it’s a choice between at least having some form of economy or continue propping up the sandcastle on stilts and hope it doesn’t collapse

Gods, I really hope they consider Linux or at least SteamOS for software support.

Having my Logitech and Corsair mice without the ability to actively rebind anything on my Linux host (without the use of Windows VMs) is painfully annoying.

They made a game protagonist for pedos💩

It’s a bold strategy cotton, let’s see if it pays off for them.

Canonical seriously needs to reconsider their plans of attack if they want Snap adoption to be real.

Most consider snaps to be a joke because of how unstable and slow they are.

Flatpaks, AppImgs, .debs are still far better than snaps.

HA!

Nvidia’s strategy sounds like:
You will own nothing and you will rent forever.

Fuck both Nvidia and Windows for the same ass decisions to exploit their customers🖕

They sure took their sweet time didn’t they.

For real. AMD really needs to get their shit together if they still want to compete against NVIDIA.

Hello

Please refrain from spamming posts as it can unnecessarily flood people’s feeds.

Just like everyone has already done I’d also recommend Codeberg/Forgejo👌

Previously it used to be about 2-3 years or so (mostly CPU, GPU, motherboard).

• I don’t drink or smoke so most of my money goes into hobbies.

Previous/most recent upgrade was a Nvidia GTX 1080 to an AMD 7900 XTX

Now it’s currently looking like once every 10+ years unless prices come down before then.

No Sony, YOU pick up that can.

Gonna be honest when this came out, all I could think of is glycerin magic from Zero Escape.

The fact that this is a real phenomena is pretty unnerving to say the least. Another thing to note down on why 2026 might be one of the worst years to exist :/

So you’re going on a diet then?

Thanks!🙌
