these fucking ‘geniuses’ needed to be in a room with this moron to determine he’s a moron?

Not sure if that’s a quirk of your particular laptop but I’ve been using a thunderbolt to dual displayport adapter for years and it works great out of one port to drive a pair of 240hz 1440p displays.
Oh man, I wonder why no one ever thought of randomly injecting ads into content before? What geniuses they must have working at YouTube. I can’t even comprehend the big-brainedness. I’m sure people will love it.
I think it’s like 70% that and 30% that all games journalists are also fans (this maybe isn’t true of, say, political journalists) who are always walking an ethical line between saying the truth and geeking out about getting status, access, power and free stuff from these companies. So it also makes them more likely to preemptively defend their golden goose/favorite studios and brands like a kid on a playground, except they might lose kickbacks in the future if they don’t become ardent defenders.
Also, I loved DA:O, and DA2 was OK, I didn’t finish DA:I and I have very very very little interest in this game until I see lots of reviews after its released. Sorry BioWare, but ya basic.
Old man offends gay coworkers with ‘traditional values’ rant.
And in 5 years they’ll all be wearing “Make Butt Fart Again” hats.
I want to pile on Joe Rogan here but like, can I really say differently for myself?
He’s not even correct by the “shovel bits at people” definition as the content that Spotify has that people care about does cost money to acquire. They paid Joe Rogan actual money (on the presumption that it was bits that would draw in enough people) for his content
Now if he was the CEO of YouTube he might have a point. But he’s so out of touch he doesn’t even realize he’s paying for things he’s paying for.
8 bit games would label the computer player as CPU as a shorthand, I honestly probably got snapped at by a nerd sometime in my teens for making the mistake and got the central processing unit lecture so I don’t really make that association but I also never heard anyone pronounce “NES” not as an acronym prior to YouTube, so, I figure different people have different experiences also.
I honestly didn’t know that sales figure for Anthem, that’s gross. They stole peoples’ money. That said, Anthem is an exceptional outlier. The difference between God of War and Anthem is that people play and played God of War.
Are you asking me why is paint the way it is? I don’t know, take it up with nature, but stop spreading misinformation.
Red/yellow/blue are the primary colors for paints (as distinct from dyes/pigments, that’s CMY(k) and as distinct from light, that’s RGB).
I have a 32 bit machine that is still in service for this task and some others, but I’d rather run it on a modern machine (m1 mac)
Can Wine run 32bit Windows adobe software?
Great. That covers what, 1 month of his administration? Keep going, unless you’re cherrypicking this incredibly active recent two weeks. This list should be enormous.
Oh man, don’t stop, what about two weeks prior to that? And two weeks before that? I bet we must be living in a consumer utopia with the pace of the last two weeks, surely applied to the last 3 years, right? right?
I think our parent’s generation (or maybe their parents’?) would have said something like “There ought to be a law!” but we don’t say that because we don’t expect anyone in office will ever help us. Hm.
I believe it isn’t even easier to use a private DNS or VPN what it’s supposed to be legal on Apple devices.
You’re entitled to your POV but Apple devices (including an Apple TV) can all use private DNS servers. I don’t run a private VPN so I can’t attest to that but of course MacOS can run normal VPN software and custom VPNs. Where are you coming from with this?
Three digit ages wasn’t in the requirements, so its out of scope. Maybe we’ll deal with it next phase. Surely that 101 year old lady can wait a few years for us to fix that bug right?
Starfield had lots of problems, but I installed it on my slower (larger) NVME SSD first, that has like 5-700mb of read speed and it failed to load peoples’ faces and hands. On one of my faster drives (>2000mb read), had no problems. Not undermining the video but that’s the last time I saw a difference in a modern game.
