That what I do is easy and that I’m “just pushing buttons”. Yeah, I’m pushing the right button at the right time because the whoke shebang has been program’d, cued, mixed over weeks of rehearsals so that, come show time, it’s all by magic. Magic of pushing the right button at the right time while also reading the brochure, watch the stage, issue cues to other dept sometimes in 2 different languages.

Summer, rain, snow, work, whatever. A pair lasts about 2 years now, in the past they where more sturdy. After a while you’re going to, first, slip on wet surfaces because of the sole being completely bald, then you’ll go through and get wet feet (or a rusty nail).
It so lightweight, so flickable away, once you start you can’t come back. I always get the “crocband clogs” in red, they don’t have lateral holes which, yeah, is more practical irl when you daily them.

Frustrating is famous games from the 32 bits era, where they would be available to Mac but work only on macos pre-10.14 and not from 10.15 when macos went fully 64bits. Which means on top of reduced availability, some of this availability would only work on a mac from 2010 or so.

Funny story the other way around: the year is 2002 and I live in Laos. Bootlegs Everything Galore, all movies games music cost $1 or about. I discover a game, and then begins a quest to buy The Real Version because it’s a small studio and I really like it all, the storytelling, the modding tools, the community… A quest that would end up in Bangkok looking like the proverbial insane foreigner looking for the most stupid way to spend his money.
I found it eventually, in a shop that didn’t look any different among all its brothers in Pantip Plaza. Took me a while lol.
