Huh? Yeah, he’s unpopular but voter turnout is such arse, that there is rarely a blowout capable of preventing electors from playing silly buggers with counts.

If he’s dead, who inherits his mantle and has a likely shot at getting enough popular votes that US fascists can pretend they won but were narrowly cheated?

  • You have to agree that there are at least two types of active, “militant” vegan: the ecological vegan, who focuses on the many global issues arising from the international meat industry, and the meat moralists, who are focused more on the immorality of meat consumption at all.

One of those is leaning toward control.

  • What an absolute dogshit take. You’re saying people would choose to continue struggling if given the option to be improved at zero to little personal cost? Why the hell do you think lottery tickets are popular? Because the people have internalized how unlikely they are to actually win life-changing amounts of money and are getting off on it?

People don’t enjoy suffering; that’s so absurd I refuse to engage with it. People like routine. It’s a wading motion: easier than swimming but takes you nowhere. But if a current pulls them into bad waters, then the comfortable wading keeps them in bad waters.

The currents have swept us to shark-infested waters.

  • Ah, horror fantasy! You’re saying that we can mix and combine genres!

Hmm, are there rules to these combinations? Or can you just mix any of them together both willy and nilly?

Could you combine, say, vampires from the “horror” camp and ill-fated relationships from team “romance” like some literal, literary Romeo & Juliet? Would that not be a “Twilight”? Or would that be more “romance” than “horror”?
