13 / 0.05 = 260
He has $260 Billion?!
Yeah, spread that around. He wasn’t doing more than playing around with Google Glass 10 years ago, coming up with Google (and then doing his best to sabotage it) isn’t worth that by a long shot.

While traditional geothermal power taps heat sources close to the surface, Fervo and its peers are drilling deeper because deeper rock is hotter, opening more opportunities for development […] bringing drilling techniques and technologies from the oil and gas sector to the development of new geothermal resources.
Still not really clear what their tech is or how they got it done so fast.

Looks like the lawyer, Antonio Romanucci, is founding partner of a firm that has won many settlements against LEOs, including one related to George Floyd. Best of luck to them!

Let’s just quickly check https://isaiprofitable.com/ :

Nope. The answer is still “they’re burning cash.” Only the companies making silicon are raking it in.

For a lot of single-issue voters, this kind of calculation is theoretical. For trans people right now, it is not. An anti-trans Democrat in office is a harm. A Republican who is openly, aggressively, legislatively hostile to trans existence is a different order of harm. Both things are true, and genuinely hard to reconcile.
Yeah, that’s an awful choice. I can’t think of a better option than the article presents — name the candidates and their shortcomings/wrongs.

I don’t really want to hear anything from the AI companies that isn’t from a skeptical third party news source, they’ve lied enough already.

Is there a client or way of posting that will consolidate 4 shares to 4 communities I’ve joined into one post? Using Boost/Android currently.

I wish that were purely a joke, but co-workers are unironically suggesting we deal with the avalanche of AI code by sending an AI to review it.

And that’s not even talking about code review.
That’s pretty much the interaction I expect in New England.
And, it’s better than waiting around for the self-checkout attendant to fix the error when the self-checkout kiosk doesn’t detect the reusable bag I brought correctly.
