I’m very disappointed about the removal of r/randnsfw.
OTOH, if they’re low-usage, why remove them? Do they spend too much bandwidth, CPU, whatever??
It’s generally desirable to remove old code and features to make the code neater. It’s also possible that some bug happened because of those features.
Don’t you have to renew them all the time though?
I hope it’s still included on future Windows server versions. It’s quite useful to open documentation or instructions included with some software.
It is important to note that the official gobernment rating system, USK, is not mandatory for Steam. Steam’s own rating system, which is easier to access, is enough, but Valve warns that filling out the questionnaire doesn’t guarantee the game will remain available in Germany: " There are certain kinds of content that are not allowed for sale to customers in Germany."
Personally I don’t see anything wrong with that at all. Commenting even if you don’t have a vagina is absolutely not the same as speaking for everyone that does have one. In fact I haven’t found a single comment that speaks for anyone but themselves.
If it’s absolutely critical that only people with a vagina comments, OP should probably have put the question on a gendered ask community instead of the main one.
Some people just like to engage in the conversation about something they think is interesting even if it wasn’t explicitly asked for. It’s also interesting to compare delta-TP between genders.
Telling people to die seems a bit extreme for such a non issue.
Well, I for sure wouldn’t gamble my life for some emulator even if I lived in Brazil (Pretty sure it was Brazil).
So you wouldn’t comply with Nintendo in a similar position?
C&Ds are generally just threats to take someone to court. They aren’t themselves enforceable.
Even I can send C&Ds if I want but I don’t have anything to back them up with. Nintendo on the other hand absolutely does.
C&Ds are essentially free though.
Lol, why do you think payment is the more likely of the two options?
Why the hell would Nintendo pay them anything when a C&D is cheaper and just as effective.
This is why I prefer the scenario which uses rail workers instead so there is no criminal that tied anyone down.
Imo arguing about who tied them down completely ruins the entire point of the scenario.
Do you mean it used the information from AD/Entra or was it tracking you?
It should be noted that work location is a self report tool designed to make collaboration easier so colleagues can know where you are and potentially align their work from home schedules with yours.
It isn’t a spy tool that tracks where you are. It’s basically just an optional tag that you can add to your calendar if you want.
We use a slack app for the same purpose, and it works great.
Yes the security logs absolutely log that, but I haven’t heard of HR forcing IT to actually use those logs for discovering where people work.
We don’t give a shit and have better things to do.
I don’t get the problem. Isn’t this the entire point of registering your work location in outlook? Why would you add it and be surprised if others can see it?
The update will use the Work Hours and Location information stored within Outlook to offer up this information, meaning there may be some awkward conversations if your colleagues believe you to be in the office.
Microsoft 365 can help you manage and share your work schedule. New features allow you to specify more details about your work schedule: from where you’re working (remotely or in the office) and whether you work different hours on different days. In addition, you can schedule meetings with others based on their work location, view the work location on people’s profile card, and see your out of office time reflected in your location.
The upcoming update even allows you to not share your location (Again not sure why you wouldn’t share your location since that’s the entire point of adding your location but whatever): https://windowsreport.com/outlooks-work-hours-and-location-statuses-will-become-optional/
Am I completely crazy or is the article from tech radar complete bullshit?
Being a billionaire is so extremely rare so it doesn’t matter. Social mobility is the ability to move from lower to middle or upper class not from lower to the extreme upper class.
What are the requirements?
I don’t get it. What is spooky or scary?
I thought it was just a funny joke.
