Shouldn’t this be marked as a reddit repost? People are interacting with the bot as if it was real person that grew this vegetable.

16·12 days agoIt sucks big time. I decided to upgrade my old GTX 1660 Super in July, but I hesitated a lot because of the prices. Lucky me I said fuck it and just bought a new one, since then I am watching the prices rising almost every day. 100€ so far, which seem almost okay in comparison to your numbers…

Thanks a lot, but I still have no idea what is going on. I can see a blond woman and a soldier at the table in the back eating together and a cut away person with a red jacket at the front. I can not see a floating bread and also no floating beard (the post title and the other comment are talking about beards, you about bread). Am I stupid?

Yeah because OP missed out on translating the pop up. It says “Shake your device to summarize”. So OP complains (rightfully) that Mozilla pushed AI summaries without asking him to opt-in into that function/pop-up.
This is a pretty bold take from you. I don’t need GenAI to know who Hitler and Bin Laden are, but I googled the woman and P. Diddy as I am not from the US. I cannot tell if the news sites I googled are LLM generated though. I don’t want to be mean but maybe you should work on your trust issues.

Not a server, but a storage box from Hetzner I use for my most important off-site backup. At home I have a small Dell Optiplex that runs Jellyfin and is exposed outwards via Tailscale. It does consume a lot of electricity, was cheap, great performance. I don’t know what is holding you back from self-hosting, but it does not need a lot of effort.
