The good thing about SimpleX is that they stayed away from politics, which is really rare in the FOSS world nowadays (looking at you ProtonAG)

The problem is that they’re basing their new infrastructure on a token that they control, that is also based on a blockchain that isn’t neutral as they claim (Ethereum was 70% pre-mined by it’s developers, how is that neutral!)
