I would argue that they care about the ROI more than anything else. Always has been
Yeah this feels like a “no true Scot” fallacy to me, where anything he says should be invalid because of his wife’s position, which is false
Makes sense, what was the focus on their move here?
Excellent points. I don’t think China wants a war with the US directly. And I do think I was just saying China and generalizing as well, as some of the party wants war and some don’t; But I still will maintain that they won’t start a war because that puts them into a situation as the aggressor, specifically to their people, but if their propaganda machine can spin it better if they join a war it’s much better.
Unlike the top commenter, I don’t think think NK will do anything if SK flies jets from the Middle East out of there. I’m purely responding to you claiming that China would stay out of the war.
Article 6 only states
The Contracting Parties hold that the unification of Korea must be realized along peaceful and democratic lines and that such a solution accords exactly with the national interests of the Korean people and the aim of preserving peace in the Far East.
China is itching for war and for someone else to start it. There’s a reason they are constantly provoking Filipino ships and the like. The US is a young country, and war is a business to us with how capitalism and war-as-profit has developed. On the other hand, China as exists now was chartered in 1949, and is looking to prove itself as a superpower.
If North Korea makes a military move for pretty much any reason, they will specifically not say it is for the reunification of Korea and rather the defense of their nation, which gives China perfect legal grounds on that loose charter to participate.
Except
In 1961, the two countries signed the Sino-North Korean Mutual Aid and Cooperation Friendship Treaty, whereby China pledged to immediately render military and other assistance by all means to its ally against any outside attack. This agreement was renewed in 1981, 2001 and 2021.
So that would basically be the start of WWIII
Yeah that’s a huge part of it. Few Americans (me included) frequently walk outdoors on anything but sidewalks or paved roads in their normal day to day travels. When I go hiking I take those shoes off before I get back into the car, but my daily driver boat shoes which rarely touch actual dirt? I don’t have a problem leaving those on in most places, my house included. Same I imagine for Americans where their job is construction or something where your shoes are dirtied, take the work shoes off when you get home, but it’s fine to wear more casual shoes
Edit: what a strange thing to get downvoted about
Double edit: I guess the first downvotes were just from people who very much don’t like shoes in the house under any circumstances
Yeah he basically can go to China and North Korea, which, surprise, are also swimming in trade deals by providing fuel and military supplies
Can you explain? I’m unsure what you mean by this
But even NATO doesn’t like it if some nation goes above and beyond, provoking hostilities from the US means potential unwanted conflict from others, and the nations supplying oil and / or weapons to Russia feel the same way. The world is a big shitty political stage where every time an actor moves people die
Praise god. Allahu akbar. Toda la’el. Whatever the words, this is a religious war. Israel is no different from the Crusades. I fear that until religion finally dies it will take a far more amount of humanity with it.
While that’s true, it’s incredibly reductive to a baseline of “nintendo should win because they are powerful and others aren’t”
How many of these emulators were shut down through legal action or threat of legal action? I mean, the list goes on and on

Oh right, this happened https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Computer_Entertainment,_Inc._v._Connectix_Corp.
Nintendo is using every action possible to stop switch emulation, because, unlike other console companies, they don’t produce any advanced or specific hardware anymore, and they purely survive through their IP.
Yeah! And they’ve been so cool and supportive of the gaming community thus far, <3 nintendo https://www.thegamer.com/a-snapshot-of-nintendos-convoluted-legal-history/
Sure, it will be as playable as it is right now, right as the project shuts down. Any updates or improvements? Any new games? Only if someone else takes up the mantle and risks having world police nintendo suing them
There were so many Nintendo apologists when Yuzu was taken down because “Yuzu used actual nintendo source code, so that’s why they were taken down, it won’t happen to Ryujinx.” Yet here we are. Nintendo is by far the shittiest company when it comes to protecting their IP, because it’s all they have. Turns out, Mario is a fucking bootlicker
Is nintendo the source of the “come to brazil” meme? 🤔
A cool thing you can do with Wikipedia is anchor links for sections like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marburg_virus#Vaccination
Or even in the case just link to

After reading through, what’s probably most important is
