• Modernize the framerate but keep the gameplay same and welcoming to new users (PrBoom Plus and its forks)

I think Doom 1 + 2 have in-game modding capacity on Bethesda network as well, along with other KEX remastered games (Quake, Quake 2)

I’m assuming you used the KEX port version? It’s great but lack of modding capacity let me down a bit since Doom’s all about custom WAD maps and mods
