If you cared enough to actually find out what happened instead of mindlessly parroting the Twitter mob, you would know that not a single word Hank said was written by AI.

100% agree. People are shitting on Hank because they have literally nothing going on. They’ve made a hobby out of being outraged, and as a result have nothing more meaningful to contribute.
If they took the time to look into it, they’d realize the line they’re using to claim that AI writes his scripts was actually something he himself simply said. Not only did he not outsource his writing to AI, he’s honest enough that when people incorrectly accused him of this he disclosed that he does at times use it to aid his research. Not that anyone blathering about it values honesty enough to care.

She, but yes. I have one of that keyboard somewhere, it’s garbage. I’m currently using a 65% Newman keyboard that I modded, which I’m very pleased with. I have a Keychron also but the PCB was damaged so it doesn’t work anymore. Both great for gaming, both feel and sound great.

This approach is honestly a non-starter. It lacks organic engagement, and most of the posts from people who do this have no comments or very few. It also tends to end up with one person flooding with a bunch of shit they didn’t read. Personally, I usually block this as meaningless attention seeking, and I’m sure I’m not alone.

Sucks in general. Mushy ass keyboard.
Lemmy is doing fine. There’s a substantial amount of content and most of it is decent. I don’t feel a need to inflate it by spending my time posting articles. I do feel a need to occasionally point out how obnoxious it is to see the same person spamming a dozen articles that they didn’t actually read one after another.
It does not contribute to making Lemmy any better. It does contribute to their weird little ego fixation with the idea that spamming random shit is some sort of achievement.
You’re right, I should spam 100 posts per day without even reading them. This would be a much more substantial contribution than participating in discussions.
You literally spend all day spamming articles you don’t read, making a massive pile of zero engagement garbage to flood the feed with. You’re basically a bot made of meat.

This is true. I regularly get a kick out of watching professionals using the same headphones.

If you’re playing games where directional audio matters, I would strongly recommend monitor headphones. It makes it much easier to figure out exactly where sound is coming from. I have Sony MDRs and I love them.
For a mic, there are some great options out there that are reasonably inexpensive. I have a Blue Snowball that’s lasted the better part of a decade and still works great, and I know that there are others at a similar price point that might even be better by now. Check out reviews from humans, whether text or video. Boom arms go a long way toward minimizing background noise from desk vibration, and also make it easier to adjust the placement of the mic.

Are you saying that gaming increasing in popularity is a reason for companies to decrease the price? I’m not sure you know how this works.

You’re aware of the concept of inflation, no?

This could be an opportunity to arrive at a more sustainable baseline for personal computing, assuming it’s any easier to manufacture components along the lines of those that would have been made a decade ago. Computing power in the mid to late 10s was absolutely sufficient for modern use. Even going back a bit further, it’s not so much of a backslide.
The market needs to build its mid-range.
Amazing bad faith response. Bravo.
There’s a world where someone uses a kolovrat or a sigel without intending to relate them to the Nazis. There is not a world where they use both a kolovrat and two sigels in a row and don’t know what it means. Maybe someone at GOG didn’t catch on, but the devs knew what was up.

They’re also the smartest, and are an excellent way to work toward wearing down visceral fear toward spiders. Their personalities and forward-facing eyes make it a lot easier to understand them. You can see what they’re looking at, and their observant little movements make them come across as curious in a way that’s absolutely adorable once you get used to the legs.
I would strongly urge anyone who is fearful of spiders to have some interactions with jumping spiders. It can go a long way toward making you feel at peace with animals that are always around us and mean us no harm.
One pellet, one trip! I must be out of my mind!

It’s pretty trivial for you personally to add an invideous link. It makes a lot more sense to directly link to videos from creators someone may want to support and let others post alternate options rather than insisting that everyone should direct traffic away from the creator to a site that may be gone in a month.
I’m ready to hide a remote mine in a toilet. Let’s go.
