I find it very strange and risky in general that they had EAC implemented and working during their big open tests, but then suddenly implemented a different & untested anticheat before launch. They disabled Linux on the new anti-cheat, but it’s more crazy in my mind that they wouldn’t expect a whole lot of new implementation issues to crop up after swapping such a major component.

I mean Linus is okay with LLM coding tools so hardcore anti-LLM people really shouldn’t use the Linux kernel at this point…

People still use Facebook?!

Do you have a recommendation for which project to host and/or clients to use? There are so many.

It looks good, I’m considering it. But the ‘uwu’ makes my eyes hurt. Might not be possible to overcome the name to install it.

I believe they are saying to use OBS just for screen capture, then use that feed as the ‘camera’ input for whatever video chat application you are using

My OLED TV disagreed apparently. Put on a certain fireplace video one winter for a few hours per day for about a month. Burned the crap out of my reds. I’ll never get an OLED again, but still use it because TVs are expensive and it still technically works.

Effective because way fewer people playing means fewer cheaters as a result!

Best civ is Unciv. FOSS civ 5 with way better performance and a lot of QoL changes

Hope she isn’t in the games at all. Worst Sanderson character ever, by far.

‘I’ll do everything stupid because my intuition and never learn or change. Everyone will always be surprised by me doing the same things over and over.’

She’s so whiny. Like a worse prototype of Shallan.

Back up your data… Including the vault. Cold storage isn’t too expensive

Yep works great.

Can anyone help explain the use case for this? Why would someone want/need a dedicated app for bookmarks vs just using the built in browser bookmarking?

I’ve always used Firefox but have never thought to myself that I needed bookmarks in a different app entirely. What am I missing?
