I’m not happy I read the wasp factory. I’m not happy I saw Antichrist (2009, von Trier). And would not recommend them despite them having some impressive qualities.
But Seveneves. The only time halfway through a book I just wanted to throw it away. I went the rest of the book thinking “kill that thing already”. It is what it is and it’s otherwise kind of an interesting story, but I’ve never hated a part of the plot or a character that much.
That one’s on my list. I don’t expect to like it, but I do think I need to see it.
