Porkbun asks for your ID now so that might not be “privacy-respecting” but their CS is very helpful from my experience.
I have domains in Netim and Spaceship, and I have no problems with either so far.

Mods and admins can remove posts but they do stay only if they’re “removed”. But if they’re “purged”, then they’re deleted from the server.
pict-rs has the option to compress images. Ours is set to WEBP with 1280 pixels either side max.
StarCraft II. It’s on Battle.Net though so you’ll have to download it through Lutris.
The first campaign is free and there’s a coop mode for casual players. Entirely free except for cosmetics, some coop commanders, and the other campaign episodes. It’s easy to pick up IMO but VERY HARD to master. Graphics still hold up better than a lot of games despite being 13 years old. Despite its age, I believe it’s the peak of the RTS genre. There’s are a lot of community-made mods/maps that you can play for free. You can even play a remake of the WarCraft III campaign there.
Other RTS games that I like:
Not really an RTS game but I’ve been putting so many hours into RimWorld (Steam, native) this year. At its core, it’s a colony-building game but it does have some RTS elements to it (economy, combat, and unit management). Lots of mods available.
I have a lot of abstract paintings in my room. They’re not mine though. They’re a collection of my parents who have nowhere else to hang them.
I don’t remember which update it was but newer versions of Lemmy use significantly less database storage.
I recommend checking out lowendtalk.com if you’re shopping for VPS hosting providers.
That would be us - https://ani.social !
Google’s localization is much better than any search engines I’ve tried.
You’re welcome. I think there should be a better way to communicate a removed or banned community. Maybe like a “removed/banned community for X reason” sign instead of the “community_not_found” error page.
It might be pretty expensive to host something like that. Video encoding can get really expensive. I enjoyed RPAN’s brief stay though.
which government? there are plenty of those.
I did say the complaint:
The mod tools are too basic and barebones
I also gave three ideas that are (1) manually done by mods/admins, (2) manually done by users, (3) automated by mods/admins.
On a small subreddit I moderate, we have automod automatically queue posts at a certain age. If your account is less than a day old, your post is hidden for public viewing while the mods manually approve it. We had to deal with a lot of spam bots and this was a good solution for us.
I believe the way the report feature works on Lemmy is that it sends out to the mods of the community and all the admins. It doesn’t work quite well when I don’t know the rules of a community. “No memes on mondays”, is that really something I (as an admin) should be worried about? That’s not my job.
I hope this clears things up.
The mod tools are too basic and barebones. I’d appreciate if we can get:
I don’t know if I should split this comment into three or not but they’re some general suggestions to address the complaint of basic mod tools.
We took those classes. They were very introductory though (how to cite, what are good sources, how to write a research paper, history of media, some basic media theories, etc).
The humorous mental health subs. League of Legends (outside of pro league stuff).
They are cheaper. Locations outside US/EU and very few countries in Asia are sometimes called “exotic” and can be a bit expensive. Lemmy also has this issue where servers that are distant from each other lag behind.
