  • I live in the UK, and seeing air conditioning in a house is maybe like a 5% probability maximum. The story is pretty similar in places on the continent I have seen, except maybe bits of Spain and France. Sure, commercial buildings, trains (with a notable exception being hell the Central Line), and cars have AC, but that’s only for when you go out in the day, except for hotels that more often have AC.

The old Dysons are way better than whatever the hell they’re doing nowadays. I could genuinely feel the difference in the plastic quality when I moved from an older DC 39 to a newer Big Ball (the Big Ball’s is significantly worse). Not to mention the Big Ball has gone through two roller heads (both had the mechanism break). No wonder their newer cordless models have a 2 year warranty instead of the old corded 5 year. They used to be really good, if a bit expensive, but now the options from Bosch and Miele look far more attractive.

  • Sommie, the little, uh, thing that lives in a cave in your home base (the Somniel). You feed it and pet it, and it gives you bond fragments you can use to improve your Emblem Rings. Essentially, Engage is a giant crossover event and every Emblem Ring is a different character in the series that gives you different powers in battle.

Yeah, I was as confused as you were when I started Engage. My first game was Three Houses, which feels like the Oppenheimer to Engage’s Barbie. Even then, I love Engage so far. At its core it’s a very traditional Fire Emblem game, weapon triangle and all.
