I believe it depicts the pose when one rests the head on folded hands (with the elbows on the desk). I do this pose sometimes when observing content on my screen (with hands under my chin or hands at the part between upper lip and nose with the chin against my thumbs).
But now I can’t unsee the long mustache. :D
