If you like Minecraft checkout Luanti. Open source, extensible with Lua, has most Minecraft features, and a huge community of new kinda of games and addons. Really really cool.

Hugo is really easy to automate too. Just toss it on a github/codeberg repo and use one of the community’s publish pipelines.

That really tells me very little

Honestly surprised they didn’t go with NextCloud Talk.

Agreed. Comment is good. I really like Sable too. Element isn’t “bad” but it never felt good either.

I use Sable with Matrix and it is SO much better than Element.

I love that the icon for the fediverse is a collection of assholes.

Use pinchflat and you only need YouTube to find new content.

I’m gonna keep on dying in Valheim.

Totally, though I use towonel on an OVH VPS. Couldn’t be happier.

I’ve been playing Valheim now that its finally 1.0. Lots of new stuff i dont remember from my last game ~3 years ago. I finished the Black Forest and I have been searching all over for Swamps. I only find these dinky ones with none of the interesting stuff in them. Its been kinda frustrating.
The new Bear armor is great for exploring on land. Boosts to stamina and speed.

It feels pretty similar for me. I last played 3-4 years ago. I’ve barely got to the forest and its the first time I’ve seen bears, so I guess that’s new. There are also some pretty cool animated cut scenes.

Fire Emblem Awakening on the 3DS, and Valheim on the Steam Deck.
I had forgotten how rich the 3DS library is. And so many I still haven’t played.

I never got around to playing any of the Fire Emblem games and I wanted to bust out my 3DS again, so I started with Awakening. Its been a lot of fun so far.

I never played it on DS. How is it and what is the second screen used for?

Its a secure way to route the traffic from a public endpoint to your internal services without exposing your home IP address. You could do something similar with wireguard. I didn’t indicate you couldn’t.

Yeah, that’s a future step. I just haven’t finished migrating everything.

You mean putting your home servers on a VPN with your client devices? That wouldn’t really allow for exposing public services.
I had a somewhat similar revelation. Remember those “demotivational” posters making fun of the motivational posters that were all over schools? (At least in the U.S.) There was one that really stuck with me when I saw it:
“Mediocrity - if you can’t learn to so something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly”
It was kinda life changing.
yubal to grab stuff from yt, then some scripts smashing Claude and beets together for more intelligent automation, then navidrome for serving. Occasionally I’ll use slskd for more obscure stuff. Tempus is my current Android player of choice.
