The word “terrorist” has an incredible power to shut off people’s brains.

I can’t trust a car no matter how Japanese it is, but… I watched a lil docuseries on dangerous roads, and it seemed like at least 80% of the vehicles (outside of heavy trucks) were Toyota. I dunno if it’s because they’re the most reliable, or because Toyota just has the market in many of these developing countries, but it was interesting.
Obligatory downvote but I enjoyed the first Shapez and this one looks way cooler, I’m excited to get into it.
Copilot seemed to be a bit better tuned, but I’ve now confused it by misspelling strawberry. Such fun.
One time they told me I had 3 days left to enjoy YouTube with my ad blocker, and then I would have to buy premium, or they would just lock me out of the site. I was like “welp, it had a good run, I guess that’s it for ol’ YouTube.”
But then the 3 days went buy and nothing ever came of it.
That tactic probably did get them some preemptive subscriptions though, unfortunately.
Yeh, if I ever see my TV’s OS I’m like “fuck off! HDMI4!”
Oooh, trains? I am sold.
So they’re either in the “no one wants to buy” situation, with a product that doesn’t quite measure up and a lower price is the incentive to buy, or they reach parity with AMD, and bring the price up to match as well.
Maybe there is a window in between where they’re sacrificing some profit to grow their market share, and regular customers benefit, but I have 0 faith in this economic system.
Well I hope you’re right that there kind of is, I am 0% expert on this stuff.
I really want there to be a legal precedent for all these stupid terms of service things being invalid because we all know no one reads them and you can’t realistically function in contemporary society without clicking those “agree” buttons from time to time.
*Although this case is not that, because disney’s claim is insane for other reasons.
I’m skeptical about how much another competitor would help…if intel can offer a comparable product, they’ll get right in on the price gouging too. Why wouldn’t they?
After getting the first Shapez free on epic, I might actually pay for this one. It looks very cool.
I’m sure they’ll find something even more problematic to dump money into sooner or later.
Of course it’s not only ai, but the article’s subhead: “Statistics raise concerns that rise in demand for data processing driven by AI could derail climate targets”
Can we just cancel the whole “ai” thing? It was fun for a bit, now it’s just problems.
“any flavour you like, as long as it’s swamp water!”
Ah no worries, reading is hard sometimes :P
They all seem legit. I don’t have personal experience here, but I’ve seen many from the outside, and spoken with women whose experiences certainly don’t sound anything like “life on easy mode”.
And even those 3 advantages only apply to certain women. It’s so easy to generalize, but what if you’re fat, or gay, or something? What if you’re an asexual Muslim who loves opening doors? Poof. No advantages, only hard mode.
The working class I guess? Certainly no one with power.
