I think next year will be the time when I buy a new phone too and I’m also looking to get a pixel. I will devinetively not buy a new one but maybe a refurbished one.

As he mentioned. He also goes to a Mensa(maybe in an University), where you can usually eat relatively cheap.
But to be fair, in terms of animal wellbeing Demeter is absolutely fucking great. If there wouldn’t be the thing with weird ideology.
Sir, may I introduce you to the importance of soil health and biodiversity?
Also, its still not entirely clear how healthy it is to eat pesticides(AFAIK). Yes, it is less efficient, but that’s the only fiel it falls behind non organic farming.
So just because my car has the ability to tow a trailer it is bad? The pixel gives everyone that wants to the possibility to install a custom ROM, which is great because not every phone allows this.
Work can actually be a very good approach for resocialiding inmates. However, this only works if its done right. In Germany you can actually learn a new job while being in prison so that you actually have a chance to find a job ANF make money when you come out of prison. You can also get some money from the work you did on the day you leave so this is a great opportunity for inmate to get back into society and not being forced to do crimes for a living.
For me its multiple reasons.
I really like the aspect and feeling of a small bonded community. There are a lot of people that are fairly active on Lemmy and you see them quite often.
The next thing is, that I personally had the experience, that people on Lemmy are much kinder than on Reddit. There are so many kind people on Lemmy and I had a lot of useful conversations that aren’t like two monkeys throwing poop at each other.
What’s also a really good thing is, is the fact of redundancy and federation. The fact that there are multiple instances, each with a unique style and feeling, is good so that everyone can find an instance that suits their needs(or they can host their own one if they want to). There are also sometimes multiple communities for the same topic on difference instances. I as example have blocked lemmy.ml due to their modding behaviour and I don’t want to support this. This also means, that I won’t engage in their Linux and askLemmy community’s, but this isn’t to bad, since both have duplicates on other instances.
The Option to install Graphene OS onto the Pixel do be a very good argument for it.

My next phone probably will be a pixel just so that I can use GrapheneOS
If I want to see what someone has posted I search for the name, click ob The profile and im am then able to see what they posted.
For me it always showed a banner asking me for an account, but you can immediately close that one.
Yeah, but I would really like that swing implemented.
Why does no one mention Mastodon AS an alternative(from the MPs)
So far I tried voyager, eternity, liftoff and Jerboa. Liftoff wasn’t usable and eternity and voyager weren’t exactly my type of UI. I stick with jerboa. I really like the simplicity and how clean and intuitive it is. Only thing lacking is the ability to create communities.
I wish someone would take my ability to see so I never have to see this again.
You can actually use Facebook in a somewhat acceptable way without an account.
May i introduce you to the wonders of science?
This Initiative is taking of like a space rocket. I actually like how much Attention it gets with several news outlets writing about it.
Schwierig.
