So your advice is: 1) don’t pay it and 2) work and live in a different country. Super reasonable! /s
Men can criticize modern dating. Any gender can. I’m not saying you can’t. The final frame in this comic portrays strong anger at rejection which is never okay. Sadness? Sure. Disappointment? Understandable. Anger? No. The anger signifies that you feel that the other person owes you something.
I mean, sure, the girl in the comic is super insulting. But obviously what she said wouldn’t happen in real life. Overall, the comic just feels like a mythical scenario (which is completely cool for a comic) that’s embracing toxic nice guy mentality (less cool).
At the risk of overanalyzing a web comic, I feel it’s worth cautioning that this screams toxic nice guy syndrome.
Bloody damn pixie
Why? You’re disappointed with the explanation? Disagree with it? Or you don’t like its somewhat informal tone? I thought it was well written, enjoyed the information / humor, and can respect the explanation.
In several of the parks, yes! Hell, getting drunk off of “drinks from around the world” at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT is a popular theme for adult guests nowadays. However, I’ll mention that Disneyland is still quite restrictive (though their neighboring park, California Adventure, is not and fully embrace alcohol sales).
Several of the global Disney parks besides California Adventure sell alcohol. Even in the original park, Disneyland, which has long had a nearly total ban on alcohol has relented and has started selling booze in limited venues (most notably, the Blue Bayou restaurant, which is a fantastic restaurant btw). Money talks, and booze is pretty good money.
Actually about 7% of those that have tried it are still alive and well! 😀 (Our current global population represents about 7% of all humans that have ever lived)
You’d 100% be selling overpriced alcohol in an adult-centric theme park. If Six Flags and even Disney have figure out how to do it safely (and very profitably, I’m sure), so can other theme parks.
Yes, there is NO limit on the number of bankruptcies you can file for. However, there are time limits between filling dates. Here’s what a Forbes article mentions about it:
Just as there are different types of bankruptcy, there are different rules for how often you can file bankruptcy. The waiting period to file another bankruptcy case generally ranges from two to eight years, depending on the type of bankruptcy. In some situations, there may be no waiting period.
However, good luck getting creditors for years after filing for a bankruptcy. I imagine very few will trust you / loan you money, except for the most predatory (i.e. loan sharks). And if you did go with a predatory source, a future bankruptcy may not help you discharge the debt given predatory sources commonly operate outside of the law.
You can update the TVs settings to block these new large video ads. However, Amazon is getting more and more intrusive with its ads. I imagine that, similar to the Alexa Shows that I also use, every few weeks they’ll tweak the ads, making your previous “disable this” settings no longer applicable. It’s technically a new ad type, so they can auto enable it again. Super frustrating.
Largely in response to these new autoplay ads, I replaced my Fire TV with an LG TV. I’ve got another LG TV from only a few years ago that doesn’t really have ads. This one… does. Damn it. Don’t get me wrong, they’re much less in-your-face when compared to Amazon’s ads. But, damn, does everything just have to be ads now?
My wife has tried several bra brands. She landed on Branwyn merino wool bralettes, which she loves. Very comfy and great airflow. I’ll mention, she is smaller and prefers bralettes over more supportive bras, so your mileage might vary.
Popeyes makes an amazing chicken sandwich! (Assuming that’s what you were getting from Chick-fil-A.) I might even enjoy it more than Chick-fil-A’s.
Those 3 states are huge, but the other swing states are definitely still a factor. If Harris wins all 3 Blue Wall states, she very likely will win the presidency. However, if she doesn’t win all 3, then either candidate’s victory will likely be decided by the other swing states - Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Georgia.
