The alternatives constantly hitting issues (not their fault I know) led me back to using the website. So I’m running it in Firefox with ublock origin and unhook go get rid of most what I dislike about the website. I’ve got my subs through an RSS feed which I treat as the feed. Open what I want in new tabs, close when I finish. No algorithm pushing me around and I’m watching way less.
Its not the most private solution but it works well for me.
A lot of love in here for Keychron. I bought one and really disliked it. I changed the switches and it got a bit better but I still wouldn’t go with them again. I just don’t like the feel.
I’ve also got an Epomaker which is fantastic.

I used it for a week when I got FP4 (2024). It was pretty usable. I was still using my iPhone for music and to have it handy in case I needed something that UT couldn’t do. It was a slow, planned migration. I was having an issue with music not outputting volume and then threw Calyx on it as music was a deal breaker for me. I still had the same issue on Calyx, it wasn’t the OS that was the problem.
I’ve been on Calyx since aside from another little foray in UT before updating to the new Calyx and my issues with UT are all software based. The OS is functionally great on the phone, which makes sense because FP officially support it now.
Unhook does most of this in one extension.
I don’t know about value but certainly a lot of cost to hardware.
Just try it and see. If its a new phone its not like you’re losing any past data.

Write the speech first and practice it quite a bit. When practicing notice the emotions and maybe write breaks into your speech to allow you to feel.
The last funeral I spoke at I put a joke in and the idea was while the audience had a little laugh I could compose myself and get ready for the emotional close.
By rehearsing it you make it a bit easier but allow yourself to feel and grieve without restraint at some point.

I couldn’t do it myself. Ended up going Fairphone and Calyx instead. Just patiently waiting for Calyx to start releasing again.
If you want to carry your whole music library around, a big SD card makes that work. I understand streaming is the trendy thing and I was using Navidrome myself, but I rolled back my plan and switched to SD card for it. I’ve saved money.
Another use case is for carrying a heap of ROMs. I’ve also done this until I realised gaming on my phone was uncomfortable and bought a dedicated device.
Having the SD card wasn’t a dealbreaker for me when I bought this phone but I do really like having it.
I just did the same thing myself. Played Burnout 3 until Trails released.
It is crazy how well Burnout holds up over 20 years later.
