So you don’t think you should be held accountable for the rules of the place you’re in and for trying to escape?
So you don’t think you should be held accountable for the rules of the place you’re in and for trying to escape?
And how do people know that? How do they know you’re not pretending to not be a nutcase?
Do you understand that people can pretend to be kind, normal, etc as a way to sneak things in?
I’m sorry you had to go through these things, but you seem to lack some serious awareness of others.
Rock climbing isn’t my thing, but I helped out today taking some pictures at one and wow… there are a lot of people at those. People need belayers and it just had a generally friendly atmosphere. Plus you get exercise. If I was in need of friends and liked rock climbing, I’d definitely be going there more often.
It’s always good to have a backup heat source if you live in a cold climate, but heat pumps have progressed a fair bit with running at lower ambient temperatures. Many manufacturers have models that can run down to, or below, 0°F. However, those models usually are a fair bit more costly, so it makes sense to evaluate how often it dips below the low ambient cutoff for the heat pump and the cost and type of your backup heat to determine the most economical route.
It’s technically not orange light bulbs they have to use, it’s a specific lamp style called ‘low pressure sodium’
Here’s an article that explains the reasoning behind Hawaii’s lighting sources and the regulations:

Red light is great for a headlamp when you want to preserve your night vision, you’re also walking instead of traveling at +60 mph. Red light also doesn’t provide you with any color differentiation which would be an issue with already existing road lines (yellow vs white) and street signs along with the simple notion that humans are used to light in the full spectrum from the sun.
The biggest issue with headlights is people putting LED lights in older, halogen bulb housings that don’t scatter the light the same as LEDs which leads to blinding lights that are quite bright. Additionally, you get those assholes with lifted trucks that don’t re-aim their headlights and they too add to the annoyance and danger of driving at night.
Better enforcement of existing laws would help, but that’s asking a lot of police these days when they seem to have so many other “better” things to be focusing on. /s
Where is Russia 2 miles from Alaska? It’s about 50ish miles. Last I checked, it’s also not a great place to start a ground invasion. The US could blow the shit out of that area of Alaska and nothing much would be missed.
