I whole heartedly agree. And to anyone who complains about dunkelflaute, if we wouldn’t immediately burn our biogas, and instead stored it where we currently store our fossil gas, we would have a way more comfortable safety margin. Also a stronger European powergrid would be sufficient for almost all usual cases throughout the year.
Ich finde es sind die kleinen Dinge: Alltäglich Taten von gewöhnlichen Leuten, die die Dunkelheit auf Abstand halten.

Good News Everyone@piefed.social•Paraplegic boy doing Three Peaks Challenge meets CatherineEnglish
6·4 months agoHey, I appreciate your effort to share good news, but at least to me, random people meeting famous people is nothing that lifts my mood. Especially if those are coming from long dynasties of wealth (aka royals). Looking at the rating of this post, I am not alone with that feeling.
I always get suspicious when the headline says something along “scientist says you should”. Because typical scientistic statements are more conditional: “If you do A, B might happen”, or even “B becomes more likely”.
Checking the actual quote:“I think it would be nice if your meal came with a side salad and six French fries, […]”
Yeah, really good reporting…
