Wouldn‘t it be the best thing to make election day a nation wide holiday? Could keep the tradition while also actually allowing people to vote. I doubt that productivity is high on these days nevertheless.
Has this ever been discussed?
Ehemalige DSA-Figur, die es irgendwie geschafft hat, eines Menschen Pseudonym im Internet zu werden.
Former TDE character who somehow managed to become one mans pseudonym on the internet.

I like the newer version more but to be honest the euro is still a very boring looking currency.
In Germany, it’s different from state to state - some children have been back in school since 31 July (Saxony), while others still have their holidays until 9 September (Bavaria).
But it’s six weeks everywhere, so some start very early while others finish quit late.
Disposable bottles can be returned to almost any shop, but refillable bottles must be returned to a shop that also sells this type of bottle. I do not think there is a much better solution. Forcing shops to take back everything would be quite chaotic and very expensive.
I did and will continue to do so… But I think I am still in a minority here. Most people probably just get on a plane. At least if they are going further than a neighbouring country.
Not really. While there are more cities in Germany with a system called U-Bahn only Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Nuremberg have real U-Bahn-systems all the others technically are Stadtbahnen, Unterstraßenbahnen or simular.
But if course it’s up for discussion if the term metro should be translated in such a strict way, or whether it should be done more open to include other systems as well.
Edit: So at least if you follow the definition of the word Metro by the UITP the map is completely correct for Germany.
Wait? What?
