I just need an app to: scan the barcode of a product and he returns me EU or NOT EU. That’s it.

it’s BUYcott app. There is an app in the iOS app store (also in Google store) where you can scan products to see what the origin is. They also have a website: www.buycott.com It’s a paid app. I went to their website to see what it’s all about, but … I don’t know. It’s an American thing. They have a project called “Boycot Trump products”, but I still have my doubts about it.
I just learned that Eutelsat is also (still) working for Russian TV stations to stream/broadcast their programs. Do you think it’s a good idea to work with an European company who has no moral compass and says it’s OK with Putin?
IMO it’s mind blowing to see how many Europeans are now discovering alternative EU or OpenSource solutions for IT services that were imbedded in our lives for so many years. Linux is booming, Proton.me is one of the biggest competitors for the Google eco-system, alternative browsers like Vivaldi are sky rocketing, Signal, BlueSky, Mastodon and Substack. I had never heard of that 1 year ago and now I have no more Facebook, Instagram or Whatsapp. Also many… many european businesses are moving their cloud drives to EU cloud services. This is only the beginning.
Het komt eraan. In BEL reeds actief. In 2025 is NL aan de beurt.
the app on my iphone is working very very good. I hope it will work as smooth on my Fairphone 5 too (when I buy the e/OS Murena version in June :-)
