Unpopular opinion but the British aren’t even that bad. They are only hated so much because they have been really good at a lot of things and drinking too much. The foundation most of the world is based on is British and it’s easy to miss.

Historically they think, or at least seem to think, learning English is beneath them. In fact doing anything not French is beneath them. Then they act like wankers and that’s why everyone hates them.

English is the dominate language and the Chinese even accepted it before the French. At this point the youth have sort of given up and end up consuming a lot of media and internet in English so it’s way better. Also the lingua franca of Europe is English so they got to learn it just to speak to everyone else, but they don’t really and as such have probably the worst english is western Europe and even most of Europe in general.

I just don’t see this taking off. The solution is werid.

Factory build houses seem way more likely but they also have big issues. Namely cost being a barrier to entry and scale. Hopefully china or India or even china in Africa sort it on a mass scale and the economics get proven.

Ah yes companies that famously refine oil only to pour it into a hole and light it on fire for their own amusement, one else uses it at all.

If it’s just these companies that would be affected let’s just close them down. I’m sure it would make no difference whatsoever.

Fuck the internet changed so much from when i was a kid. I was some fucking catholic school boy on the internet anonymously having debates and learning things I couldn’t have access to at home or in school. I seen the wonders of the internet and the huge potential enlightenment and community it could bring now we have this shit.

So I already have apps downloaded from f-droid including encrypted folder. What happens to this from September. Do i get to keep them?

If i do get to keep them are there any apps I should download while I still can?

Also if f droid is going to stop working but I already have it what does that mean? Are google going to outright takeover my phone like some IT department in a big company and delete and install everything they want on there?

We are talking about people dressing poorly. Sure if you want to wear gym clothes at the gym or walking around fine. Additionally I haven’t got issues with tradies getting a sandwich on a lunch break but they shouldn’t be wearing that to a sit down dinner on a date after work.

Mental take. Humans are fundamentaly are pack animals that are built for connection and community.

The most important thing about being human is working with others. Caring about what others think of you and you caring about them is of vital importance.

All of western history people cared about how they look.

Now people just go out wearing some advertisement for some stupid company.

Self respect and respect for the community is gone.

The Thick of It - Real People

People overly hate capitalism. Almost no person in the entire world is for completely free market capitalism.

Capitalism works to increase efficiency and distribute resources effectively.

The issue is politics. Politics is broken not capitalism.

There are plenty of idiots that can raise kids.
