Why are all of you coming here and commenting without looking at the video im trying to share? I want to talk to you about the content of the filibuster that’s been happening for 20 hours. How do you think he’s been standing for 20 hours straight? There’s 10-20 other Dem senators there helping him by taking questions, giving speeches and allowing him to get bathroom breaks.

I share your sentiment but I still chose to believe we are losing an information war. People are not that stupid the right wing media system is truly powerful. We’re not going to get people back by belittling them. It’s a cult we need to treat it like a cult. Plenty of research on how to get people out of cults.

It does though. I agree with most of your statments in this thread. We don’t need to re-write the constitution. However we could if we wanted too. We can’t get 70% of america to agree on whats best for everyone. That’s not the government thats us. I’m open to hearing causes and solutions, but to act like we don’t have power is false. our government gives us power. 70% of the country doesn’t know how use it, or we can’t agree on how to use it. That’s my assessment anyway.

Social security is overwhelmingly popular but the majority of people can’t vote to save it. So when we finally cut social security and no one even votes out their congressmen I think we will discover its not the political system its us.

Senator Brooker has been filibustering the senate for almost 20 hours. Reading testimony from american people who are suffering under trump. He’s crying and begging people to take action. He’s pleading for our dying democracy, saying that’s all he can do. We are all really suffering right now. We need unity. If you have a chance there are good democrats on the senate floor right now doing everything they can to stop republican legislation. Not all democrats are bad eaither. A lot of people really care. if you can watch this filibuster it might be the longest in history, and it may give you some hope that there are representatives that care and are trying to find a solution. They are hearing us.

Nah if you’ve ever lived near a big city you know based leftists who are amazing intelligent people. And ya if you’ve been on the internet you also know the purity testing and violence they can represent.

At this point im just trying to figure out who reluctantly voted for Kamala, and who stubbornly handed trump an election with Jill Stien. I want those lefts out. Their views do not reflect the democrats. They are just using democrats to push their ideology, but they are not here for us when it matters. I love my local leftists. Very civic minded. Tend to their communities. Do support great local legislation. They volunteer to feed the homless and create community programs. It’s the internet leftists that exist to score points that are giving them a bad name.

There’s a bill in the house that is going to remove congressional oversight from executive branch. Allow these executive orders to have much more weight. unitary executive theory? So you want more executive over reach or should we fight to keep the power of the people in the halls of congress?

I agree, but one of my biggest points im trying to get out in the world is we can’t make decisions based on Optics we don’t control. We need to control the optics, and the narrative. We do good things, we are not good at taking credit for them and helping voters understand them.

So we’re always going to lose and the republicans are already blaming their recession on Biden.
