I have a really, really hard time navigating an iPhone. Whenever I take my girlfriend’s phone, I’m lost. Their type of ergonomics doesn’t fit my needs.
I have a very hard time not being angry at myself. But I agree with you.
My depression has been trolling its way back recently, I was doing good since January… Those two weeks have been hard. Keep crying without knowing why exactly during my visits at my psychologist.
But the weekend wasn’t that bad. We went to the municipal pool yesterday, the kid was happy. Today we went to the beach with friends, it was a most beautiful and relaxing day. When we came back, everything started going so wrong, I became super clumsy and almost broke stuff multiple times. Ended up screaming at myself and went to my office in the basement to isolate myself.
I feel bad for my wife and son. They deserve better than what I can offer right now.
Very sorry dude(tte). These are tough moments :(
Or what if the entity that stimulates can just “dream” the simulation to make it happen?
“Mdr” is a good one as well, good catch :) MDR = mort de rire = laughing to death
I visited Vienna in 2015 and that’s one of the places where I’d gladly move if I could.
I agree, Jane is a good one.
I create Starfield graphic novels.
I’m a huge fan of the game, and there is this podcast called “Starfield with Normal People”, which has a Discord server, and they organise a weekly “Starfield Adventure Club”. Every week, one planet is selected, and we all go there and take screenshots and create a story.
People are very creative, some publish a captains log, for my part, I ended up creating a graphic novel.
For my part, it’s a mix of pure screenshots using the photo mode, some generative AI for the covers, and plain old montage using Figma.
I’m having a lot of fun and I’m not tired of it yet, I’ve been doing this since February. I discovered I had a talent for storytelling and… Air scripting I guess?
2023 has been a monstrosity of a year in all aspects of my life. This comic is self-care for me.
If you want to read a few episodes, you can find them on my Facebook page, as well as on my DeviantArt page.
Enjoy!
I second that. Bullseye.
They’re would be a lot of time involved in bettering my community. Also a lot of trips and hobbies.
Chicago band Mechina, which plays space themed industrial / death and symphonic metal.
Their music is very rhythmic, and I they are my go to band when I need to concentrate. But they are also the band I listen to whenever I need to feel good.
They use both clear vocals and growling, and I really like both.
Their albums tell a story that they keep on building with each release, and the singles connect the narrative of every album together.
I’ve seen a few people call their music “Mass Effect Metal”, and I get why. They use a lot of audio that could be used in these video games : audio logs from lost spaceships, emergency communications and such.
Here’s my favorite song from them. It’s a long one but I love every second of it. Even the sound effects at the start.
I love these guys!
On my first PC it was DOS 2.0, but before that I had a Vic-20, then a Commodore 64.
I liked Unity. I liked Origins. I also liked Valhalla, but it didn’t feel like an Assassin’s Creed game. But I liked it nonetheless.
