I tweaked several settings in the OS.

Under Mobile Data for the app I allowed “background data” and “unrestricted mobile data usage”

And under battery “unrestricted” and “allow background usage”.

After all that I can’t keep the app running. 🤷

I tried this a couple of months ago. The app will not stay running in the background on Android.

Think about how long that paper has been sealed up in the plastic wrap. Germs and bacteria can survive for a limited amount of time. I submit anything on the paper towel is dead.

Even if multiple people are online at the same time: why is time inconsistent (the sun is up in one place while it’s dark in another), you can ask friends what time it is in where they live (internationally) but receive different responses based on their surroundings. This person states it’s 08:00 while you reply it’s 23:00 on the same day with one difference: they’re starting the day while you’re about to finish it moving to another.

This is the price of living on a oblate spheroid.

The bootloader can be unlocked, doesn’t clarify if it can be relocked. An unlocked bootloader is a security problem.

We have no information about the degoogled OS. What happens when an app needs Google Play Services? Does the OS have a Sandboxed version or microG?

There is also https://noai.duckduckgo.com/ but it lets in plenty of AI when doing an image search. This needs a lot of work.

I use DDG NoAI and I’m still seeing AI images. The engine is supposed to hide that slop by default. I flag the images and hope they get blocked … eventually.

I can confirm this works. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stopped hiccups doing this. Best if it’s done right away when the episode starts.

Benny should be using gaffers’ tape (that doesn’t leave glue on the lens when removed) instead of house wrap tape.

I see nothing wrong with that. Seems very reasonable.
