Man, after years as a valet ages ago I’m so anti Jaguar. Every single time one came through, it had problems. Owners constantly griped about it being in and out the shop a bunch. Nice at a glance, but plenty of the “luxury” brands are apparently made with fucking plastic and band aids.

Absolutely this. Can confirm from experience. I got it from my Ma, whenever family was hosting growing up she was doing the most. Flexing at every opportunity. Obviously good to play with a budget you wouldn’t mind burning so you don’t chew off too much, but keep being extra.

Obviously still has fair share of dumb stuff happening with these systems today, but there have been some big steps in just the last few years. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was much spookier a decade from now.
In general, good to use as a tool to be taken with grain of salt and further review.

Might’ve just been the glass slipper my hands needed then. Felt like a peak optimization of the sony layout, least in my mitts.
I know several folks who prefer the offset Xbox style, but I always appreciated the more symmetrical design of PlayStation. Thumbs were same height on controller for FPS or fighting genres, which I did a bunch of back then. Didn’t mind offset thumbs for other games like God of War. I think the designer in me also appreciated sony’s cleaner aesthetic as well.
Back in the day, I think it was Logitech or similar who redesigned a PlayStation controller with some minor ergonomic tweaks. It was a masterpiece. This was back in maybe PS2/PS3 era.
Sounds see if any modern versions exist. I’m still a Sony controller purist, having never really fallen in love with Xbox like so many others.

Obviously no idea, pure speculation, but I assume there would have been like, multiple careers in jeopardy if Jack stuck by Kyle initially. Jack Black got big dummy money now. Big dummy careers like this have teams of people involved. I’m sure he was getting threats of being dropped from agencies and upcoming gigs (no more Bowser unless you back off) that played a role in the choice. He’s got enough money to be fine, but what about the others affected? I’m sure it was a terrible place to be.
Truly some devil’s advocate thoughts here; was a punk-ass move distancing himself from Kyle instead of calling out the hypocrisy. Risky jokes have existed since forever - hell Gilbert had 9/11 jokes the very next night. The Right out here selling merch with violent rhetoric for years. The whole thing is goofy.
