To me, an ignorant person who has only begun to seriously question capitalism after being exposed to lemmy for about a year, this visual analogy seems to imply that capitalism and fascism are thought to be distinct in the eyes of the maker of this meme, though. I think the suggestion of having them both be homelander conveys a different message which seems to be the consensus here: they are different sides of the same coin.

I lost some respect for jables here, the way he’s seemingly throwing Kage under the bus… But at the same time I can recognise that JB has always tried to keep up a positive persona. Not apolitical but he’s never been the type to promote violence directed at specific people. Kyle did him kinda dirty by doing something to potentially harm that (assuming he was truthful when he said he was blindsided by it, and not just saying that after it blew up in the news).

Not saying Kyle is wrong and Jack is right here, though. I’ve always felt a little bad for Kyle that Jack put tenacious D and therefore Kyle on the sidelines when his Hollywood career took off. Kyle was rightfully quite jaded about that and I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s led him to doing this without considering the possible consequences for Jack.

I went through so much lip balm over the course of a year while taking isotretinoin. Miraculous how well it works though. The acne hasn’t returned since finishing the treatment a year ago.

What? The point of star citizen is exactly that kind of emerging gameplay. I can almost guarantee the person whose spaceyacht was stolen had fun here too. Nothing was lost, the ships are insured and you can just call them back a short while after they’re destroyed.

I’m fairly certain she didn’t lose the ability to laugh. I don’t think that’s entirely possible. No, it doesn’t. It shows mild anger at being insulted for no reason. Are you running on the assumption that he’s asking her out in this scenario? The only rejection he got was unsolicited. Like if I walk up to the next woman in the street, ask if she’s single and when she says “yes” I respond “nevermind, you’re not good enough”. Now she’s upset and understandably so.

I’m in full agreement with your point, but this comic is not a representation of that in any way.

As they should. It seems like common sense that this sign should be enough and anybody that ignores it “is an idiot that has themselves to blame for the discomfort of food poisoning”. But it’s suddenly a whole different story when your grandma of 82 has died a painful death from severe salmonella infections just because she forgot her reading glasses that day.

The risk of death is tiny but nevertheless an unacceptable risk to assume just so some other people can keep buying their snack for a couple of days instead of shutting down the machine.
