Taskmaster drew me in and I binged it all. Now that I’ve watched the other shows and know the contestants a bit more, it’s even more fun to rewatch! Taskmaster is a gem of a show, an absolute casserole!

I’ve seen her in The Punisher, too. Very distinctive voice, and as you say, she is a phenomenal performer.

Fringe. It seems like a monster-of-the-week show but has two deep and ongoing long burn plots, and both get to reach their end, if a bit rushed.

In 1983 or so I bought a Japanese themed RPG for the Apple IIe published by EA.

It didn’t like the disk drive we had, so the copy protection would reboot over and over.

There were only two models of disk drive for the Apple IIe.

I assume the joke is (usually undocumented) people look for work in the parking lots of Home Depots, hoping to be hired for day labor, and the same may happen with the nerd glut in our culture and Best Buys.

I’ve never witnessed this as I live in a smaller city in Northern MN but it’s a cliche here in the States.

Sounds like ‘Free Guy’, and I’m curious to see what they’re doing with the premise.

Westworld. It is a brilliantly self-contained first season with nothing more needed. The subsequent seasons are worse but do not detract.

And Heroes, of course. That was just a mess.

How many people had concentration that high, and how did it get that high?

I would hope it wasn’t just from using Teflon pans every day.

But with a sample size of 30k, they would be unlikely to get people who might regularly come into contact with it in a manufacturing setting.

I prefer cast iron anyway.

I’ve watched almost everything they’ve put out. Not all has been great, of course, but I’ve tried to keep up.

Agents of Shield and the other ABC stuff I haven’t seen. Some Agent Carter.

And still working through some of the Netflix shows leading up to The Defenders. I’ve seen all of Daredevil and Punisher though.

Max means Cinemax to me.
