I think we are “lucky” that it effects all computer like electronics (laptops, PCs, gaming consoles, phones). If it was only PCs, the PC as we know it would die out.

I made the mistake of selling when covid hit and the market went down. I started buying again when the market was doing OK again. So I made two mistakes: sold low, bought high.

I don’t know if that is a problem. If a human does dumb things he will be fired. If a computer/algorithm /Ai does it, it will be removed.

I think it has more to do with human costs (salary) vs the cost of brand damage (youtube).
