World News@lemmy.world•‘We’re afraid of dying’: Brazilian news site will not cover upcoming elections after threatsEnglish
5·4 days agoYeah! That’s exactly what they should be doing instead of whining! (if I need to explain the nature of this message, I swear to god…)
Goddamn you Wally! Just take your finger back, we don’t care anymore ever since you took Rell away from us!!! Fuck the Tau, fuck Entrati, fuck the Warframes, just leave us be ffs, we don’t need the void magic to do shit!

memes@lemmy.world•My name is Gandalf, a Wizard. A radiation wave hit and I got shot through a wormhole. Now I’m lost in some distant messed up parallel universe…
6·4 days agoI hate what they did with Neo’s character! The Coral Bottom was just fine there in the Air Nomad’s ring of power where it was before she gave it to Bill Cypher TT
Open just enough so that they can slide sideways and out(?). The less the better to minimise chance of friction and thorns (cuz wooden floor)
Suprised to see noone even mention CoreBoot :(
Why do I get the feeling that had the robber not opened the wallet, Mimi wouldn’t reverse rob him cuz he didn’t get the Uno Reverse card?
Do my friend’s grandgrand parents count as “old”? Cuz they are still sometimes lovey dovey in the cheesiest ways I ever saw and didn’t know were possible before
Sir, I am giving you a chance, please don’t waste it.
Is it at least self-hosted/will you self host it later if you ever “need” it later?
(for ⅖ of a redemtion point)
Isn’t that just the last Jesus?
Question as non-aromantic: is it love as a whole or just romantic type of love?

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Watch the best horde games of lichess.org
1·9 days agoAnd is thus not worth a watch that can’t possibly be entertaining regardless? (probably for most, but I actually like watching people be openly bad at something and have fun anyways, it’s inspiring in a sense)
Cells I suppose, cuz they end by either splitting or death

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Goes right over some people's heads, I tell ya
62·9 days agoWhich would be ad hominem since this post of theirs in particular doesn’t mention any specific US party and is thus still unrelated to bring it up regardless.
- If I’m a huge proponent of pineapple on pizza and have a reputation of one, and we’re discussing pasta with strawberries, my history of pineapple on pizza takes is irrelevant when conversing of straberries in pasta.

61·10 days agoAll the post is about is “fascism = bad”, as in general as it gets basically. You’re the only one bringing specifically US politics out of nowhere; which gives a strong impression that you feel called out for some reason and thus are inclined to question your views on whether “fascism = bad” unrelated to US politics specifically exactly because how unrelated it being brought up was originally.
- Luckily, the story has a good ending for, one day, pacman ran away from that, not even caring about money. He willingly chose poverty if it meant not being exploited ans drained dry. Not kbowing what to do, he climbed the Alp(m)s and many were inspired by him, by his adaptability, by his reliability, his dedication to one task and self-embetterment, that they made an Arch just for him, in glory to his minimalism and building himself from nothing.
- Touched and inspired as he was, he got even more dedicated, even better, getting supported and even getting donations. He did his work for free, but got to get by from charity in gratitude and genuine appreciation for who he is. He now has gotten many more arches from his endevours, not rolling in cash, but sufficiently cachy, rather rolling in updates he releases of things and places he found. There is even a little buddhist arch of “Om”, to name only one of many.
- He rejected fame and money and with his own worth found true happiness in being himself and doing his best while still getting candy like before whenever he merely expressed that he loves candy.
- Truly a journey to tell tales of.
Might be it scratching some 'tistic itch of mine, but I’d love that mug more than any other just for that kind of realism and sentiment
