Denial? I’m living in it dude!! And it’s much worse than it looks from the outside. I’m just trying to tell you that the “majority of Americans” did not, in fact, vote for this. Just imagine saying that about ANY other group of people living under an oppressive regime. And even if it was the the majority, so what? The minority gets thrown to the side because the happened to be here? You have a very narrow point of vidw on this, is what I’m saying.

I really need people to start understanding that that’s not how electing presidents works in the U.S. first off, this guy only one the popular vote once, ever and it was REAL close. Secondly, we don’t have mandatory voting in this country and abstaining doesn’t count as a vote, so you’re talking about a percentage of a percentage here.

I suppose the execs are smart enough to know they need to play along lest they become the targets of a future tantrum.
Everything the is happening right now is the direct result of our rulers (politicians and capitalists) working with each other.
No reason to play along here for any of them. They all want the same things.
But elevate and raise are synonymous, and the double entendre is kind of the whole point, here. I have no idea how it worked in the original Arabic, as this is a quote from medieval Sufi poet, Rumi. But I assume there was a similar clever play on words happening.
It means to elevate your language, rather than just get loud. Raise as in rise above.

I don’t need support for an overthrow and new system, the collapse is inevitable. We are currently in the middle of it.
Reformation is NOT the same thing. When you’re working with the framework that we have (a 250 year old document that is miserably outdated) and nobody willing to treat it as anything other than some sacred text passe down from on high, you’re left with what you’re left with. Less than one amendment to the Constitution per generation and no public of civic desire to continue to amend it.

Yeah, an uncontrolled collapse could be catastrophic. That’s an argument for building decentralized institutions capable of surviving a federal crisis, not necessarily an argument for preserving the existing federal state indefinitely.

Well, what I really support is the Balkanization of the U.S. PLUS the complete and utter collapse of capitalism as a system. But that gets into a lot more of a nuanced discussion than I was prepared for.
But that game sounds sick, though.

I agree with everything you said except:
I support restoring the republic and safeguarding fair elections.
Because I support the Balkanization of U.S. Nothing good comes from the continued existence of the this country. Trump’s rise to power isn’t a fluke, it is merely the natural consequence of courting authoritarianism for the better part of a century.

Ask them to unlock their phone and hand it to you. Let you go through whatever you want.
Is -20°C regular winter temps for Canadians? It’s colder than that here in Minnesota

This kind of thing tends to work completely differently depending upon municipality, county, and state.

They’d also get to win this one
What a privilege! As if anybody wins

Sure, but it’s at least a thing that’s been considered by actual scientists and space agencies. It’s been studied, and that Wikipedia page shows you the outcomes of those studies
Idk, maybe commission a study on the concept of orbital racing? And then there would be something to cite?
Fwiw, I played your game and it’s pretty fun. I just don’t understand why you want a Wikipedia page about orbital racing to even be a thing? Write a lengthy blog post about your game and publish somewhere. Put in ALL the information about orbital racing that you can in it. Publish it and spread it around.
Wikipedia isn’t the starting point for information, it’s the end point. There needs to be enough sources to feed the article to begin with.
Or, alternatively: Hire a professional Wikipedia article writer like every media company, rich person, celebrity, and corporation does.

You’re trying to make a game and legitimize the mechanics of your game by writing a Wikipedia article for something that doesn’t exist outside of The Expanse and your game?
This guy shouldn’t be your friend

The Mitch McConnell thing is clearly a test run to see how long they can get away with covering up the death of Donald Trump when/if it happens. This is NOT without historic precedent, see: Woodrow Wilson and Ronald Reagan for famous expamples of Presidents who were unfit to serve, but still did due to cover up.
Save this comment, mark my words. When Donald Trump dies, you won’t even know.
Well, sure, but how is that relavent?
There are other ways. But better isn’t the word I’d use. There isn’t any one tactic that gets anything done. Which is why you must employ a diversity of tactics. This is part of that.
